Re: Best BB guns for christmas.
I have used a Crosman 2100 (now 2100b) for a number of years for killing squirrels using .177 pellets. It will also accept BBs. It is very quiet and deadly at 25-30 yards. A well placed shot using a 4x scope can be effective at 40 yrds. Make sure to put a couple drops of oil on the sponge every mont...

Possible sighting
Has anyone seen the movie "American" with George Clooney and see what he uses throughout as his weapon of choice? Am I right in thinking it is a P64 and one of the women uses a Pa-63 or other Makerov type?

Guns spotted
Anyone know the pistols used in the movie Valkyrie were Walther PPKs or P-64s? There are several close-ups of their usage.

Seven in a P 64
I had a strange happening recently and want to see if anyone can tell me why. Recently after a visit to the range ( inside in NE Ohio weather - no need for windage ), I used a speed loader to load the mags. On one of them I managed to accidently load seven and not six. It wouldn't load into the pist...

Different Pa -63
At a recent gun show I spotted a PA-63 with a different dark slide surface texture. Both mine and a friend of mine are shooting a more normal smooth blue coated steel. This one had a textured dull surface and of course the dealer didn't know anything about PA-63's or the reason for the difference. S...

Safely selling a gun...
You might try searching for a local gun show or many shops will buy or take in trade. It will give you a chance to look for something more to your liking.

Jamming problem
I don't know if you have the same problem that I do. After changing the recoil spring to a stiffer one, I have to make sure that I pull the slide all the way back or the first round will jam on feeding. The magazine then has to be removed and the round cleared. Sometimes that isn't an easy procedure...

we win DC loses
I have always considered myself a liberal. I have been around guns most of my life and have owned everything from black powder muzzleloaders to the three handguns I have now. I have a CCW and carry when I feel the need. I don't agree with the NRA stand of "from my cold dead hand." I feel t...

Qualified today with my P64.
Let me add my conrats as well on the qualification. I had an opportunity to try a combat course this past spring but they wouldn't let my P 64 or a friends PA 63 on. they too few shots and mag eject was too difficult to manage. We would have to either us one of theirs and buy the 100 rounds needed o...
