Kel-Tec P3AT
We carry Gold Dot HPs in our P3AT, and I know many others on the Kel-Tec users group do the same. I also must admit that I've only run one magazine of them through the gun, so I have no certainty of their reliability. Also, many claim a polishing of the feed ramp can dramatically improve reliability...

Swiss K31's
You will really enjoy a K-31. The Swiss military ammo is usually available online for less than $0.45 a round. I think I bought my last batch from Graf and Sons. Prvi is reloadable and only around $12 a box. My K-31 has been sporterized. I also just realized this is an old photo before I put a long-...

Thanks for the link Norm. Those prices beat the pants off anything we have here in town.
I don't really need a chrome barrel anyways, they all get the boiling water treatment in the end...

That's good to know on the SKS. I was under the impression they had some parts that were not interchangeable and lacked chrome bores. I'm sure it is just some bad data I got somewhere. Move Yugo SKS to the top of my list!

This could be hard, but I made a resolution with my wife the other day. Only one new gun each year. So if I'm 26 that means... Any .38 or .357 snubby that shoots bullets in specified directions. Ruger 10/22 Mossberg 500 Taurus Judge SKS preferably not Yugo, but I'm starting to give up the ghost. Pos...

sidetracked by a mosinm44
While everyone is sidetracked I would like to ask if anyone has done anything about their M44's trigger. I was sold a "Polish" M44, which I thought would be a great companion to my P64, but got it home only to find it is Romanian. In any case it was in great condition and all cleaned up, b...

Handgun/Rifle Storage
I generally store mine the same as Fritzhund, in cheapo padded cases with silica gel packets. I live in a dry desert climate, but in the winter I do run humidifiers because of our near worthless baseboard heaters. After cleaning, I try to make sure my weapons are exposed to good dry heat for a while...

I've been thinking about changing my main spring, maybe its about time to do that. Also, what type of ammunition do you shoot? I have tried bulk Federal and Remington Thunderbolt. Most semi-auto .22s seem to like that Thunderbolt stuff, but not mine.

Hey 6x6pinz, You got a good looking shooter. I saw over on another board that you have recently acquired the .22 Model 80. I was wondering if you had many difficulties with it, because mine jams just about every other shot. It's my only .22 and wish I felt safe shooting it. Here's a photo of mine (n...

Range Report on My New CZ452
That stuff must be cruel! Great pictures Papabear, that Nazi marked ammo looks like art.
After browsing a bit I have found some ammo at:

Where in the world did you find ammo for your M95? I have a beautifully refinished M95 I would love to shoot a couple of times. The only problem is that old 8x56r stuff, it's pretty obscure...

CZ-82 Magazines
I have a good buddy in the market for CZ-82 magazines, but he says all he finds run about $50 bucks. I knew a few folks on here might be able to point him to a good source. Any recommendations?

Oh-Boy! My New Toy (P6/P-225)
What a shame, what a shame! I was finally going to order some of the Numrich grips, got my Dremmel out in preparation. P.S. That's a good looking P6 Trent. Your grips appear to be in stellar condition. I'm pretty sure my whole gun was once wall-grated in a drunken German brawl. Like you said though,...

NO MORE SILVER BEAR PISTOL AMMO!
I just put in for a nice order of Brown Bear 94 gr. FMJ. I recently saw a posting that Brown Bear is made in Barnaul. My question is whether that is the same place Silver Bear is made, or was this guy all wonky. Silver Bear was really clean, and I enjoyed it. p.s. I enjoyed Silver Bear so much I eve...

Question About Buying a Shotgun
Fantastic information guys, thanks so much. After you guys got me started, I spent some time researching a little deeper on the interwebs. Many people like these NEF shotguns, some like them more than their Remington 870 Express counterparts. Based on only forum reviews, which is all I could find, t...
