Won't fire DA with round chambered...
If you are pointing the pistol away from you with the slide removed then look at the right side of the disconector. It can catch on the safety lever inside the slide. There is supposed to be a very slight angle where the sharp edge of the disconector is filed off at the factory. Some are not filed ...

Won't fire DA with round chambered...
Alright, here's what I've done:
1) Installed a new trigger spring from Norm.
2) Cleaned up the disconnector.
Unfortunately, the problem still exists.
I'll try looking at TMG's suggestion next, but there aren't really any sharp edges on the disconnector.

From the pictures, the gun appears a little rough - or maybe textured is the word I'm looking for. Is that just a result of the camera flash?

Won't fire DA with round chambered...
First off, thanks everyone for the replies and suggestions! The slide appears to be completely flush and where it should be. I've tried doing the "mag slap" after reading another thread about DA problems and the disconnector. The hammer spring is stock, so I'm not sure that would be an iss...

Not exactly sure what the issue is here. ???
If the P64 is empty...the DA pull works fine.
But if there's a round chambered or an empty casing inserted the trigger pulls straight back like the safety is on.
Anyone have any ideas?
