range time
I tried my newly sprung P64 at the range yesterday, and now I can hold a 3" group at 10 yards, no problem (and I don't shoot much). A pleasure to shoot, I think I'll keep shooting the lower grain ammo, like Barnaul 95gr HPs or similar. Replaced the stock recoil spring with the 22# Wolff spring,...

Got my Wolff Recoil Spring today
Yeah, that could be true...this is only the 2nd recoil spring I've changed...my Bulgy Mak was first, now my P64. Anyway, went to the range and I was very impressed with my newly sprung P64. This is more like what I'd read about...once I got used to where it shoots, it's a very accurate little pistol...

Got my Wolff Recoil Spring today
devlinfaust.....I didn't mean to discourage you from replacing the springs....the 22# recoil spring is an exercise in frustration, but like my grandad always said "whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." Just follow the instructions you'll find on this site, don't get in a hurry an...

Got my Wolff Recoil Spring today
Got my new 22# recoil spring today...boy, that is a bugger to get back together! As posted above, you have to get the slide JUST RIGHT to get it in one piece. On the stiffer firing pin spring, I read elsewhere (barnett3006's post, I believe) Wolff included those to make sure the firing pin doesn't s...

Trigger Dissasembly/Reassembly
Norm....tried a small nail, but it kept getting in the way when I was sliding the trigger assembly back in. That's when I got the idea of using 2 small pieces of swab stick to hold the spring in place. Like I said, I'm all thumbs with stuff like this....made it much easier for me.

Trigger Dissasembly/Reassembly
Norm.....I had no problems with your trigger and slide stop springs, other than I cut one off too short......and your instructions were OK for removing and reinstalling the springs. I just had a problem holding the trigger assembly together and sliding it back into place, then reinserting the pin wi...

Trigger Dissasembly/Reassembly
Hi: Well, I took the q-tip step one further. I used pieces of q-tip swab stick to hold BOTH parts of trigger spring in place. Then it's a simple matter to move the trigger and spring into place, press the trigger pin in (pushing the swab stick out), then remove the other small piece holding the &quo...

CCW Question
We just got CCW in KS Jan 1st....got my license on the 10th. I usually carry a Mak, have a 1911 clone under the counter in my store.
Will probably carry my new P64, once I trade out the springs and can hit the paper reliably....I like it over the Mak because it's skinnier.

READ THIS!
This is great news....but somewhat of a dilemma for me. I ordered the PPK and H&K P7 springs, was going to mod them for my P64....wonder if Wolff would take them back and ship me the right ones in the next week or so?

Sure they are....it's unfortunate that these days the candidate with the most $$ usually gets elected. Don't know about you, but I'm scared to death about Hillary...really don't want 8 more years of the Clintons. Not that I agree with everything GW has done...I'm a registered Democrat, but I find my...

My $.02....our government is a long, long way from what our founding fathers intended. My son (15) and I were talking the other day about how it used to be an honor to serve as an unpaid legislator. The early legislators lived in boarding houses and paid their own way. Now it all seems to be about h...
