How many of these things are there?
They don't seem to be everywhere, yet as a surplus item there must be a decent amount of these fine pistols somewhere. I wonder how many have been imported and how many were made, and how many are left.
The PA-63 seems to be everywhere. This seems a little harder to find.

Barnaul ammo
Is it any good? From what I've been able to find, it seems it's pretty hot, as far as 9x18 goes.

pow-r-ball ammo
I think CorBon in .32 is the best choice.I mostly carry a .32, so I am really interested in this subject...
I also think the Pow-R-Ball is a good choice in 9x19. As far as the 9x18, I'll defer to you guys.

I like the Pow-R-Ball. It's what I keep in my G19. I didn't know it was available in 9x18. Thanks for the heads up.

My gun won't fire DA-can't figure it out
Okay, it's fixed. I fixed it by replacing the original trigger spring. Now it works, so obviously it was something I did. I tried the 17# spring and the 18# spring, but it did not work.
So, problem solved, but I'm not sure why yet.

My gun won't fire DA-can't figure it out
It works okay with the grips on and the slide off. With the slide on the trigger goes all the way back and ther is a little click, but nothing. The hammer is never engaged. Strange huh? This only happens with the slide on.

My gun won't fire DA-can't figure it out
My gun won't fire double action. When I pull the trigger, nothing happens-the trigger moves, but not the hammer. Single action works fine. Also, the gun will work double action with the slide removed. It's only when the slide is on that it won't fire double action The safety appears to be operating ...

New spring weights and extractor question
The P-64 was designed for a certain diameter recoil spring with one end that screws on the barrel tightly. I have been told the the PPK springs are NOT an exact fit and there is some sloppiness with them. I understand there are issues with the recoil spring. I haven't heard of any problems with the...

New spring weights and extractor question
Anyone buying one of these guns would be a hobbiest, since noe of us are in the Polish military or police, as far as I know. I might use the gun to carry sometimes. It fits in a pocket pretty easily.. I guess if you're a hobbiest and are using it for target shooting, it's ok.

New spring weights and extractor question
Interesting.... Does Wolff market these as made for the P-64 or PPK, or are you using springs engineered for another gun (PPK)? I am an experienced armorer and I would never use parts not engineered for that weapon except in a dire emergency, in a foreign country where my life depended on that weap...

Wolff-from the info that is posted in this forum, using the PPK springs.Interesting. Where are you getting these springs that are engineered for the P-64?
