Re: Piddlin' with .38 S&W
Daven, I agree, I recently read a great editorial piece about the number of hand gun wounds that don't end gun fights. My son in law is a surgeon and he verified what the author said, caliber isn't as important as where the shot is placed. Gun shot wounds are evidently much more prevalent than we re...

Re: Piddlin' with .38 S&W
Daven, I noticed the same thing with my StarLine cases, they would not fully seat in a 38sp. cylinder but dropped into all of my .357 revolvers. The only thing I could come up with was the .357 cylinders were tapered for ease of ejection? Regardless I love my S&W top break .38 S&W lemon sque...

Re: Problems weighing Red Dot powder.
I found Winchester 231/ HP38 for almost all of my loads and the results are what I expect, as long as I keep the hopper 4/5 full the weights are accurate, if the powder falls below the 4/5 mark I may or may not get accurate weights. Below that mark I need to do the tap technique and weigh every thir...

Re: Wolf small pistol primers?
Normsutton believes there can be problems with wolf primers that may threaten your handguns. There was a time that dollars were an issue and I bought what I could afford with out catastrophic results to any of my pistoles. Recently some US made primers are just as inexpensive and as available as wol...

Re: Problems weighing Red Dot powder.
I tried the tapping thing and no improvement with red dot, so I decided to dump, trickle and weigh. Still no problems with any other powders.

Re: Here's a little Norinco I picked up
So what I'm hearing is that Norinco is putting out quality products to compete with the rest of the industry, it only makes sense that they would improve thier products to compete, junk quality products do have a way of disapearing from the for offer shelvs.

Plus one with Fish! But, if I may make a suggestion for a cleaning solution, you may want to try Lemy-Shine; may be spelled Lemi-Shine; I'm in another part of the state of Oregon at the moment and can't refrence it right now. Norm Sutton turned us on to this product and it makes the cleanest cases I...
