Ok so i shot her again today.
Yeah my p-64 was jamming on "silver bear" 94 grain hp mabey 1 or 2 per magazine but I polished the feed ramp a little and it pretty well fixed it. It doesn't go into battery one time at round 45 and I get a misfire one time after round 45 also so I will put back the original hammer spring....

"frangible ammo"
Have any of you Guy's run any frangible ammo thru your P-64? After going through all the pages on the forum I don't remember seeing anything on frangible ammo. I would be doubtful if it would feed ok cause of it's light weight mabey it would'nt cycle right? Just wondering or opinions would be apprec...

Greyfox (chief) Good idea on loading a hollow point on the first round then the rest FMJ. I've been loading 95 grain FMJ for penetration. I really enjoy this subject! I've been lugging around a 5 inch 1911 or a smith&wesson 686 .357 mag. in the heat of S.W. Arizona & getting this P64 is nice...

I'm a new member & just got a P64 last week ( 2/5/07). I'm hooked on weapons & read a book on the green berets in Afgahanistan by Robin More "The hunt for Bin Laden" & the gb head leader had two makarovs for ccw & I got intrested in PMs from that book. After finding a makar...

918collector after I posted a reply to you I further red about your glock 36. That is next in line for me to buy. Our little friend is a C.C.W. masterpiece. The muzzle in de-horned no snags anywhere & talking about narrow. Really for the last 5 or 6 years I've carried a steel 5" 1911 which ...

918collector I carry 1/2 the time with a "tommy" fanny pack. I usually carry my 2 1/2" Smith & Wesson 686 in it with a tee shirt untucked over it & it works very well for me. Summer in S.W. Arizona as everyone knows is hot! I'm a brand new P64 owner (one week). So far I carry ...
