How did you find us?
After having the opportunity to fire my father's P-64 at the gun range and falling in love with the pistol, I decided I wanted to know more about the gun. Thus I googled P-64 Pistol , and 4th down the listing was the main website... the rest as it is said is history. I stumbled upon an awesome commu...

HOW TO TELL A NEWB IN FIRE ARMS
Uses clips instead of mags or magazine a clip holds bullets and a mag has a follower in it Uses main springs for recoil spring or hammer spring clocks and watches have main springs in them , fire arms don't LOL not trying to flame anyone NORM Who said "Clips" ? I must have missed that one.

P-64 importation slowing down?
For parts may I suggest a spare 64. SOG was sellin' xtra mags @ $10. There are a lot of "deals" @ gunshows.....Most of 'em are deals 4 the vendors.......... WOW . I'd love to find me some $10.00 spare magazines for my P-64 locally or in the greater surrounding community area here in SATX....

In biblical days it was 2 opposing armies on the battlefield with personal weapons, not WMD's that kill civilians. Just some food for thought for those that follow the 6th commandment. I don't think it applied to soldiers in battle, but I am sure it does to innocent civilians - little children are ...

P-64 importation slowing down?
Mine was manufactured in '73 and only came with (1) magazine. While I was on duty on Sunday my father went to a gunshow and picked us both up [since we both have P-64s] a single magazine, but almost no one had them at the gun show. Seems the only guy that had any wanted $35.00 a piece for them. I ke...

New line of holsters
Thanks for the link TTH. Would've said so sooner but I've been busy the last (2) days working my butt off for the PSC. I'll have to look into seeing what works best for me P-64 wise. Though at this time I'm thinking (due to having a hard time drawing the CZAK from the Uncle Mike's holster on my duty...

Interesting post dane , but I was raised from age 4 by the last of "The Old Guard" (i.e. 1950s - 1963 military) and for that reason alone, I primarily only see things and have opinions from an almost entirely military prespective. I guess this would come from having a DI/NAM vet as a fathe...

The P-64 as a *duty weapon* ? Advice Please:
Nice Pic grayfox , not to mention some nice shooting. The day I hit the range and fired my first P-64 I had left my man style targets at home and all my father had with him was the animal type... I'm curious to see the difference in my "grouping" patterns with the P-64 in a PSO regimented ...

New line of holsters
New here myself TTH, and I'm definately in the market for a good holster for my CZAK P-64 (I like using both names in that order) I just purchased. But it has to be able to fit on a police duty belt and not just on a regular belt... with at least one good button type strap going over the breech/hamm...

The P-64 as a *duty weapon* ? Advice Please:
Well first off I'd like to thank EVERYONE who chimed in, and thanks for the warm welcome. I decided to head over to the gun store my family has done business with since 1974, and picked up my own P-64 as of earlier this afternoon, as seen in my updated avatar of me holding it. So far as I can tell, ...

New to these parts so I hope to get some imput on this question of mine. After lurking for a few hours you all seem to be a cool cadre of fellas who know quite a bit. Here's my situation... I'm a hard working LV III/Armed PSO (Private Security Officer) for one of the better PSCs here in San Antonio ...
