Locking the slide back for cleaning
It's simplier to just remove the slide off the frame for cleaning

More BS on EBAY
It's been my experience, that aftermarket military mag, are pure garbage and a waste of money. They don't perform as well as the real thing. He can sell those things for 10 cents each and I still wouldn't buy it. Go with the surplus military mag, and you will never be disapointed.

Dry firing
constant dry firing isn't good for any firearm. Get a "snap cap" if you are going to do that. On a side note, you only have one double action pull, after the first round is fired, it's all single action after that, so it isn't like you have to build up your trigger finger. Or, you can alwa...

How about a View New Posts/View Today's Active
Just another suggestion. Is there a possibility that a link to view todays active threads, and a view new post on the forum homepage? most of the other forum boards have this, but I'm not sure if ProBoards has this available.

Is there a feedback rating on here?
I agree with prometheus - if it is possible, a "score" or rating should be posted with the seller/buyer's profile. If we just make comments (like I just did on the buyer/trader forum) they will get buried over time. It does sound like extra work for the moderator ... That is what I was al...

just noticed rust on my p64...help
Are you sure it's rust, and not dried cosmoline? Harden cosmoline can look like rust. In any event, if it's just surface rust that can be easily delt with with Break Free and some elbow grease. If you do take off the bluing in the process, it's a easy fix to touch it up, get yourself a product calle...

SHONA dose http://www.ssmedwi.com/ NORM that address for SSMEDWI, is the same one that I tried to buy a Soviet TT-33 that wasn't butchered with the added safety a couple years back, for something like 230 bucks for a post war one. Needless to say I was a day late getting mine, sent the money to the...

Is there a feedback rating on here?
I looked for one, but can't find such a thing. If there isn't one, maybe it could be incorporated into the user profile and displayed at the bottom of the members post where the [Reply] [Send Topic To Friend] [Print] line is or under his Username. That way at a glance a potential buyer can see excat...

I found this site on GOOGLE as well, it's number 3 now. This site doesn't even come up on YAHOO. As for pop ups go, I turned that feature off on my NETSCAPE browser so I never get a pop-up.

Has any one slugged their bore yet
It does not surprise me that the diameter is a bit larger. AK barrels on the average are .311 diameter instead of .308. It has nothing to do with the ammo fitting in NATO rifles, the length of the cases would prevent anybody but the fool hardly to put a 7.62x39 or a 9x18 into a chamber meant for 7.6...
