It's been my experience, that aftermarket military mag, are pure garbage and a waste of money. They don't perform as well as the real thing. He can sell those things for 10 cents each and I still wouldn't buy it. Go with the surplus military mag, and you will never be disapointed.

Are you sure it's rust, and not dried cosmoline? Harden cosmoline can look like rust. In any event, if it's just surface rust that can be easily delt with with Break Free and some elbow grease. It does not surprise me that the diameter is a bit larger. AK barrels on the average are .311 diameter instead of .308.
