I have also noticed that on 2 of my 4 P-64's. One other possibility I thought of was that on 2 of my P64's the firing pins stick out further than the other 2. The safety catch, when engaged stops the hammer mechanically however, on my other 2 P64's the firing pins protrude out more through the safet...

Good question. I would say that at first it was all a little challenging. I actually had the gun together with the assembly manual completed first then I thought... duhh... I should have taken photos apart and labeled everything. Hope these two thread will become a "sticky post" to help new members with their P64.
