Help my P-64 is failing to feed.
Yes to suggestions..... Did you see the post I wrote just above your post? I think it is worth trying since I have deffinately seen that. If you are not wanting to do anything mechanical then obviously you have to return it if you can otherwise sell it to me cheap and I will take care of it.

Hammer works, but wont fire DA
One more thing to try. With the gun unloaded... pull the trigger to cock the hammer and just before it falls hold it with your thumb and finger and ride the hammer down WITHOUT releasing the trigger. The hammer will fall into its resting place gently cause your holding it but then push it forward to...

Download the 2 manuals by clicking the link below. http://p64.proboards67.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1180205461 Look for part 32,33,34 in the "Parts Illustraded Manual" Then look to page 8 of the "Assembly/Dissasembly Manual" and start from there. I...

Help my P-64 is failing to feed.
Check your extractor lip (edge). Check to see if it is holding/guiding the round straight forward. If it is not being held flat against the face of the "bolt face" where the case rests as it enters the chamber. If it is not holding it straight then it can try to feed at an angle to the lef...

Hammer works, but wont fire DA
I don’t know what is wring but it fires fine in SA. IN DA the hammer moves back and looks like it should work but for some reason the firing pin is not hitting the primmer. You say the hammer moves back but didn't follow it up with the hammer flying home and striking the firing pin... Does that hap...

possible danger?
I have also noticed that on 2 of my 4 P-64's. One other possibility I thought of was that on 2 of my P64's the firing pins stick out further than the other 2. The safety catch, when engaged stops the hammer mechanically however, on my other 2 P64's the firing pins protrude out more through the safet...

P64 ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY/PARTS MANUAL
Good question. I would say that at first it was all a little challenging. Now after doing about 20, it is easy but I would say that the most challenging part is when you have the safety detent and safety detent spring come not attached and you are trying to align the two and keep them together while...

ILLUSTRATED P64 PARTS MANUAL
I actually had the gun together with the assembly manual completed first then I thought... duhh... I should have taken photos apart and labeled everything. Hope these two thread will become a "sticky post" to help new members with their P64.

P64 ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY/PARTS MANUAL
I was happy to do it to help those who can benefit from some experience I have gained. These P64's are great guns and "we" members needed a good gun assembly manual to help those with not as much experience and to pass it on and learn to do stuff with their pistols. Perhaps more people wil...
