Tomovich, welcome aboard! From what understand the flat grips were originally used in Poland and the thumbrest grips were put on the pistols to satisfy export standards or something like that.

Sellier & Bellot 9x18
I'll pick some up along with the Silver Bear. I will try some Silver Bear hollow point too. Most people on the forum say that the hp's cause no malfunction. I'm using my P-64 on Sunday (1/14/07) for my CCW class. I was debating on using it. I was originally going to use my 38 revolver but practising...

Here's an update on this thread. To buy ammo and things like magazines from SOG you must email/fax the ammo release form from their site and a photo copy of your drivers license to them. After that they will ship to you or you can do an in person pick up. The only catch with a pick up is there is no...

Do I have your mag?
the serial numbers are etched on with an electrical engraver by hand I think. If your mags have them you can't miss them, they are huge numbers but it seams there are many mags with no numbers

Almost lost a Part
I bet this has happened to some of you before. Yesterday I took my newly aquired P-64 to the range and fired about 75 rounds through it. All is going well when I notice the grips are loose. Would'nt you know it , the little round grip nut is gone! The range is grass (and muddy) and I've been been al...

State Reciprocity
I just heard that an Ohio CCW resident can carry in Indiana but an Indiana CCW resident cannot carry in Ohio. Can anyone one here post a link that can confirm this? Also I wonder if there are more states with such senarios. I was told to make the Ohio list of reciprocating states, both states must ho...

Stupid question
I just bought my P-64 at a gun shop for $180 out the door. The gun shop did the spring swap and the DA was cool. I figured by the time I order one for $150 or so plus shipping and transfer I am still paying the same and I could see what I was buying this way and the spring swap was a done deal .

Thanks Dan,
I will be ordering two mags right away, I think I'd rather have originals than new manufactured onces, at least until their performance convinces me otherwise and I've heard few complaints about the originals.

I emailed AIM about availability of P-64 magazines and asked them if purchases could be made in person. I hope so because they are very close to me and they have a good price on 9 x18 Silver Bear ammo as well ($6.95/50rds)
