P-230 vs. PPK holster
I went into a gun shop north of Cinncinnati today and they had the Fobus sig 230/232 paddle holsters. I had my P- 64 on my hip and tried it in the holster. It does fit perfect and it came home with me. I think it will be my favorite holster now. Great tips guys!

Another set of Marschal Grips
dolang1,
I just saw the photo and the grips look even better on the "silver P - 64's". What is the correct term for that finish? Parkerised or nickel or ? Whatever it is they look great. Where can you find one with the silver finish? Did SOG ever have any?

Got a P-64 yesterday
Hi 8080, It sounds like your range is a bit more exciting than mine :)I think you will like the P-64. I bought mine in early January. I've had 4 different springs in it so far and I am sticking with the original factory one . The DA pull is alright with me. I took it to a gun show last weekend to fi...

Space,
Great tip about the white dot sight treatment. Last weekend I got the Testers acyrilic paint from Walmart and dotted my P- 64. It sure helps when sighting against a dark target.

kinda off p64 subject
The P - 64 is my only semi automatic. I have two revolvers , a 38 special and a huge 22 caliber large frame 6" barrel. I love the revolvers but the P - 64 is my most recent purchase so it is sorta the flavor of the month. I'm having lots of fun with it and it is my primary carry gun due to its ...

P - 64 problem
Problem solved. Thanks to some tips from Normsutton I got the slide off and the pistol back together. Turns out I had the recoil spring on backwards. I did'nt know it made a difference which end went on first. (small end goes on first).

P - 64 problem
After cleaning my P -64 I was putting the slide back on and it got jammed and now won't move. It is froze up in the locked rear position. The slide looks lined up with the lower body but won't slide forward and won't come back off. I havent had a problem with reassembly before, Only thing I did diff...

Spring question HELP
I fired the P - 64 today and it fuctioned properly accept still no DA firing. I looked at the bullet after a DA attempt and there is a very light impression. This was with a #19 spring. I will get a washer and try that next. If that doesnt do the trick I will just have to settle for it as is since I...

Spring question HELP
I have been using Silver Bear ammo. The little washer was not there. I was extremely carefull so I know I did not loose it. Does the small washer go on first before sliding the new spring on, therefore being on top of the spring? If it turns out I need the washer could I use any washer that would fi...

Spring question HELP
After installing a #18 spring in my P -64 I test fired it today and the slide locked to the rear after the last round fired every time. The magazine never released and dropped. However it still will not discharge a round in DA . I have now installed the #19 spring and will test it in the morning. Wh...
