Where did all the P64s go?

It seems like the primary market for P64s has dried up. Is this true? Are their any major suppliers/dealers that are providing P64s? I only see P64s available on the secondary market like GB.

Re: United Defense Mags.

I tried out my mags today. Finally. Each mag I tried (I only bought two) worked fine after one noticeable first issue. The first round did not chamber completely, and the slide had to be tapped into battery with my palm. Each mag only did this for the first round, and not any subsequent rounds while...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

Gosh darn you P64! You started a bad habit of picking up 9x18 pistols!

Added a Bulgarian in mint condition to join the herd of the P64 and EG.

Re: Marschal Grips?

I don't see those P64 grips any longer... did someone snag them?

If so, congrats! You will love his workmanship.

Re: Marschal Grips?

He has a set of P64 grips in stock ready for order. Just FYI. That is what I did to get mine in 2 weeks or so. The ones he has look very nice.

Re: Marschal Grips?

He had these grips in stock. It took 2 weeks for them to arrive. I really like them. The fit is fantastic, as is the finish. I really dig the stippling.

Re: United Defense Mags.

I received my P64 mags. I have yet to try them out. They look identical in shape and form to the 3 original P64 mags I have. I will keep everyone posted after I give them a go.

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

It is interesting to acknowledge the P64 as the source for my interest in East Euro 9x18 mm pistols. There really is something about these simple blow back pistols. They are so handy, yet they shoot like much larger varieties. The natural light in this picture makes the slide look grey, but the blui...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

Nice score! The East German Maks are supposed to be the best. Nice looking gun. Can I ask how much it set you back? $450. Not cheap. But I have seen them going for $600+ on auction sites, and those were equal in condition to mine. I will say it was a little hard to pony up for the EG at that price ...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

Purchased 2 United Defense mags. I have yet to try them out, but I will be sure to do so when I have a chance. Instead of another P64, though I do plan on getting at least one more, I picked up a mint East German Mak. I can't decide which I like more! They both have their perks; one major perk of th...

Re: United Defense Mags.

Thank you for the update. I am going to buy a couple here today.

I see a pair of original surplus mags going for $100+ on ebay?! Glad I got my other surplus mags for $30 a piece, even though I think that is ridiculous.

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

You two are smarter than I... I was thinking of the same thing after I fell in love with my Polish lady. One for parts, one for love. Yet, they are such great pistols, and they are only going to go up in value (such is true for the entire surplus arms market), so two nice ones would be worth it. I w...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

Actually with little file work the United Defense mags can be be made to work with older pistols no problem. It's not difficult it's just inconvenient. http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6964#p59861 Thank you. I saw that post. I was just curious about the date cut off. Some sa...

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

Well, I am still loving my P64. Attached is my Polish gal dressed in her Marschal grips -my apologies if the picture is poor... I had to compress it a fair amount and yes, I blurred out the serial number. The grips truly are amazing, and given he had them ready for shipment when I purchased, they o...
