Just read: Which magazine is correct?
And it suggests these mags from keepshooting.com maybe for a newer pistol design?
In addition, it suggests that the older mags will work in the newer pistols but the newer mags won't work in the older pistols.

Re: Magazines for my P-64
Got it! They're crap, made somewhere but NOT Poland. And Oh yeah, my money's down the toilet.
OK, so who's selling the REAL Polish mags? Who's got the GOOD stuff?
Suggestions, so I don't repeat this money flush?

Magazines for my P-64
I went online and purchased 3 mags for my pistol from Keepshooting.com. Got them and immediately went to the range to test them out. They looked identical to the original ... almost. Everyone of those supposed new P-64 mags jammed my pistol on round #1! If you look at the mouth of the mag, comparing...

Re: Who’s got the correct Makarov bullet diameter?
Grandpooba,
I never thought about that. You're right, it has to be! Trump colluded with the Russians to create this confusion. It's diabolical! Call the FBI, the CIA, or better yet, Hillary + the DNC. I feel better now.

Who’s got the correct Makarov bullet diameter?
SAAMI says the correct 9x18 bullet diameter is .365”.
Hornady says .365”
Speer says .364”
Sierra says .363”
Lyman says .363
The Poles say .3635”
The Ukrainians say .364”
Not sure what the Russians say?

Re: Red Army Elite 9x18 Mak - Range Report
Is this the Ukrainian made ammo or the Polish ammo? Red Army has sold both. Just measured my "made in Poland" Red Army ammo: .3635". (And that's with my new uber expensive Japanese calipers.) Aside: As a reloader I couldn't help but pull one of the bullets. Again the bullet diameter w...

Re: Best choice of Wolff replacement springs for an P-64?
Would the 22 lbs recoil spring help with its "snappiness"? Or would that cause other difficulties?

Re: Best choice of Wolff replacement springs for an P-64?
Strangely (?), my P-64 has a very manageable DA trigger pull (but certainly suboptimal). The manufacturing date is 1967. Does that have anything to do with this?

Re: Best place from which to buy my P-64?
Ordered from Classic with the "best of the litter" option. They shipped to my LGS one P-64 + nothing else, certainly no extra mag. The gun is in excellent condition with a few minor blemishes. But nothing to justify complaining about. Best of all, I wish my brand spanking new S&W's had...

3D printing to make some really interesting P-64 accessories
Has anyone heard from these guys? It appears they’ve used 3D printing to make some really interesting P-64 accessories, including 7 & 8 round magazines and some cool looking cushioning grips.

Re: Best choice of Wolff replacement springs for an P-64?
With the recoil from the fired case driving back both the recoil and hammer springs, I assume if I reduce the hammer spring weight, I need to increase the recoil spring weight?
So I comes down to what is the best combination of recoil and hammer spring weights?

Best place from which to buy my P-64?
I've contacted Classic Firearms after having perused gunbroker.com and discovering wildly varying prices and dubious quality. But I'm still not convinced that Classic Firearms is the place.
Any Suggestions?
