Re: Recoil
Most P64 have a razor sharp edge where the top back of the frame intersects with the grip, this is what causes injury and makes it unpleasant to shoot for lots of people. The problem with polish iron grips is they cause trigger bar binding and failure to fire / misfires for many people, even with ze...

my P64 from DK firearms was pristine, looks like it's never been fired.

nope, doesn't fit. I can 100% confirm that these grips do not fit over the stock grips.

Re: trigger bar binding with polish iron grips
I have the same issue and have discussed it with Russ. It looks like a big factor is how you grip the gun. Some people have no problems while others do. I like the grip but am unwilling to adjust my grip just for this gun. My solution is a Hogue Handall Beaver tail grip sleeve. The one for the M&am...

Re: trigger bar binding with polish iron grips
Yup, contact him. He was very helpful fguring out why my grip screw wasn't long enough (which it turned out it was a short one). sent mail a few days ago, waiting for a response. IIRC, doesn't the installation instructions say if the grip screw is tightened too much it will cause the trigger bar to...

Re: Recoil pain. Am I holding it wrong?
the bottom corner of the beavertail is not flush with the frame and as a result has a razor sharp edge that protrudes quite a bit. this gets bashed into your hand every time the gun fires, causing the pain.
the solution is to cover the beavertail with an aftermarket grip. or wear gloves.

trigger bar binding with polish iron grips
Got the latest polish iron grips and put them on the p64. Immediately I notice that the trigger bar is binding against the inside of the grip. This is causing the trigger to fail to reset properly, randomly hang up, etc. You can even hear the bar squeaking in DA mode and feel it rubbing against the ...
