Re: P64 Mags

Small bump. Found these at keepshooting.com

https://www.keepshooting.com/polish-p-6 ... id=[UNIQID]

$19.95 per mag. Reviews indicate not OEM but it's something.

Re: Polish Iron V05 grips, road testing

If anyone is looking for a parts gun, Century Arms has training P64s (window cut into the barrel I believe) on their site starting at $129. Not safe for firing. I certainly am. Thanks for the heads up. However, I cannot order direct from them - tells me to find a dealer. If you have an FFL03 you ca...

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

Probably my last follow up on this.

I found a local gunsmith to pop it in for me, only $25. He had to shave 8/1000 off the pin to make it fit, but it's now snug and functions great. Very happy to have this pistol complete again.

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

I can certainly see the value in compression to insert be pin fully. Unfortunately I can't seem to push it past the initial hole in the frame. I met the same resistance without or without the trigger guard in place. Was the Trigger Guard Plunger still in the Frame both times? Appreciate the links. ...

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

That's fine, thanks. I'll do some more research before admitting defeat.

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

Here's what I'm dealing with: https://imgur.com/a/46lFl Yes I used tape to compress the hinge spring. Not ideal but it doesn't move at least. Measuring the head gives a reading of .170 which seems too large considering the hole, which I measured to be somewhere around .955 or so. Ketchman: I sincere...

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

I'm having difficulty just getting it past the hole in the frame. If I can get past that I could probably (gently) tap it the rest of the way.

I certainly hope it doesn't require the use of a rotary...

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

One end seems to be ever so slightly larger, but it's not by much.

I've tried inserting both ends first on either side of the trigger guard and only meet resistance. I'm hesitant to pull out a hammer, it took a month to get this one.

Re: Trigger guard pin

Picture on the original post would be great. Another concern is that since it is not the original, you will have to watch that it does not ride out with use. In most cases people have difficulty putting the Trigger Guard Pin in place. If it was at all easy to install then it could easily ride out w...

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

Update: received my plunger! Decided to do this right and got one off gunbroker. So I've successfully inserted my spring, plunger and guard. I'm only missing my pin. Curly1 thanks for the link. Unfortunately most of the info in that thread is about removing the pin. Just like the poster in that thre...

Re: Trigger Hinge Pin Replacement

Follow up, just received my hinge pin! Can't believe it took almost a month. Couple of questions: I just noticed I'm an idiot and missing part #15, the trigger guard plunger. How necessary it this piece? Can I make do without? Is there an easy substitute? Next, what is the best way to insert the hin...

Re: P64 stuck slide

Thanks for your help! Your link concerning the trigger spring got me thinking and I found the source of my issue - the spring wasn't providing tension to the trigger bar. With a tiny screwdriver, I held the spring down and inserted the bar, and problem solved! Functions perfectly now. Appreciate the...
