The bullet: http://www.hornady.com/store/30-Cal-.308-160-gr-FTX-for-30-30-Win/ The factory ammo: http://www.hornady.com/store/30-30-Win-160-gr-FTX-LEVERevolution/ Hornady assures these are 100% safe in tubular magazines. I have used them in my Winchester Mod 94 and have had no problems and I don't ...

Re: .30-30 Win FTX loads
I'm sure you're correct, but I just don't know that I'd be comfortable with it. Is the rubbery part firm enough to keep from bottoming out and hitting the metal behind it? I just haven't heard of these bullets before.

P-64, For the Ladies? I don't think so!
I originally got our P64 for my wife to use...she couldn't comfortably handle it. She's not a wimp, but it's just too harsh. Even I don't care for it that much, in spite of finding it to be a generally nifty little gun. Linda has a Makarov now, and likes it a lot better.

Safely selling a gun...
I'm planning on selling my P64. The slide tears up my hand, and it kicks too hard for my wife to use. Trouble is, I've never sold a gun before, only bought them. I'm assuming there's a standard, legal, and safe way for a gun to change hands, but I don't know what it is. Since the P64 is an "odd...

round hammer, pointy hammer???
Other than the hammer shape, are there any major differences between these 2 versions that cause you to buy one or the other? Based on things that I've read, the old round hammer style might be better for concealed-carry, since the round would be less likely to snag when you draw. I've no real-worl...

Is it safe to soak the magazine in degreaser?
http://www.west-penetone.com/citrikleen.html I used this stuff years ago as an engine parts degreaser. It's a strong-enough solvent that it will de-fat your skin, but it's non-flammable, won't damage plastics, and readily dissolves in cold water. You DO have to be sure and spray the parts with some...

P64 ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY/PARTS MANUAL
Given the amount of work that went into these documents...might I suggest that you put clear copyright notices on both, even though you're giving them away for free. There's little to stop an unscrupulous individual from using any or all of your photographs for their own profit.

WE MUST REALLY BE GETTING POPULAR
When checking the logs of my webserver, I found that bots were scanning my IP address (as opposed to domain names) for various forum-related directories and files, presumably to start spamming any forums that it found. While I don't host any forums, this revelation did prompt me to change my default...
