Holser options
I've been using a micheals of oregon sidekick #1 holster. Most people I run into don't notice I'm wearing it. It pulls it up nicely against the hip. It has the LE retaining strap for those like myself I'm actively moving all over the place. Just another option out there.

Replacement Grips I make
I can completely understand that. I take pride and am very picky about my work I do. Yet, there is that handful you cannot seem to please even when you sacrifice your firstborn. I haven't seen the grips in person, but the pics on the site show top-notch craftsmanship. I'd just hate to see Zee stop m...

Replacement Grips I make
Hey Zee,
I'd hate to see you stop making the grips. I thought it was great knowing there was someone out there making these for our looked over gem.
Hope you don't permanently stop.

I see the makings of p-64 laser grips in the works here. That was one I hadn't considered looking at trying.

safety inop. in battery
It does it only with a round in the chamber... Has the gun been taken apart before? If not does the disconnector/decocker on the frame have a burr on the top portion sticking up?

I thought of that too. It might be a little big. I did look at this laser sight and this looks like the one we could use with the light rail mount mod. It has no cross bar support on the mounting claw part of it (that I could see in the pic anyway). The dimensions are short enough and it's not very ...

Well a standard size rail would work on the dust cover. The problem was if you wanted to fit anything under there it have to be very compact. Otherwise your rail will protrude past the muzzle to allow for the length of the light/lasers. Any suggestions regarding this mod would be welcomed. I also re...

Another idea and not sure if I want to try this or not. I've been thinking what this fine gun didn't have that many others did have equipped- a slide release. By looking at the ejector/slide stop on the frame it is possible to make one that has a thumb release protruding from the underside of the sl...

sig 230/232 grips
By looking at the grips to the sig 232, it appears it won't work. The rear part of them is way too low even if you were to get them to fit there'd be a hole in the backstrap of the grips. I'd suggest ordering a pair of Zee grips instead they are made for the gun with no fitting and I read he will do...

Sights???
On mine I had dove-tailed in the sights into the slide. And like it was said the rear sight i just opened it up to the larger size.

Ok on the tactical rail on the dust cover. You can put one on and look quite decent. The problem is finding a light/laser sight that is compact enough to fit unto it. I figure if the rail is made to be a tad longer then the muzzle you could attach the Insight Technologies X2 light that was also made...

Beavertail?
I'm curious on how your beaver-tail grip idea works out. I had added one that was permant, and a non permanent alternative would be nice to see also.

I was thinking that too. I had an old tac rail blank which is steel and is thick enough to contour to the angle of the cover, then jb weld or solder it on. Sounds like a good possibility.

Alright, first off thanks for the feedback. I'll continue sharing and exchanging ideas. I was thinking the same thing about the 1911 and how there had to have been resistance to changing the gun. Now that's out of the way. I have had one idea that I've been scratching my head on if I should try doin...
