Re: Trouble Feeding Lee 365 95 R in my P64

Problem solved, problem was with magazine. Spare worked fine. Measured with calipers and made small incremental adjustments until it functions as well as the other one. Thanks to the folks that offered help.

Re: Trouble Feeding Lee 365 95 R in my P64

Thanks Norm for sharing photos with dimensions... I just received and installed a custom expander/powder funnel that I had made up for me for the 9x18 using my bore/bullet dimensions on my Dillon and readjusted belling, seating and crimping stations... cycled fine... will try to get to the range in ...

Yup on the date. I'm also new to the firearm(P64) and enjoy both.

Trouble Feeding Lee 365 95 R in my P64

I am having feeding problems when trying to cycle my P64 with dummy rounds... I have checked all assembled rounds with a case guage and all are fine... I think the issue is the overall length with the shape of the bullet... I started at the .982 max listed for the cartridge, then backed down to abou...

Re: Grind down

Got my adapter for my Lyman trimmer Sat and did 100+ today in no time with electric variable speed drill. Did not force, checked length often and it was dead on. Sure beats hand crank.

Re: Grind down

I am just about to do some 9x19 for the first time... I already have a Lyman universal trimmer and found that doing it by hand was a real pain in more than one way... and I found that Cabela's had the Lyman adapter for attaching the trimmer to a electric drill marked down to $20 so I ordered it this...

Re: Factory or Taper Crimp for .367 Bullet?

For black powder using soft lead, you want the bullet to actually be a little under bore size as the soft lead obturates(expands) when fired... but in most smokeless powder loads there is little to no obturation so you want the overbore situation to seal the bore to prevent the gases from burning th...

Re: Factory or Taper Crimp for .367 Bullet?

Ketchman, Are you just messing with me or do you have a point you want to make? From what I have read you want your sized bullet about .001" over the bore size to have an ideal set up so that you will minimize leading... I know that we are talking about a lower velocity pistol round, but the sa...

Factory or Taper Crimp for .367 Bullet?

The title pretty much says it all..I'm currently waiting on a .367 sizing die to be finnished at a local shop and for some newly poured bullets to age before using the sizing die. I'm planning on sizing 100gr bullets to .367 to fit my P64 that slugged @ .366. I will be reloading on a Diillon 550b. I...
