Re: Another P83 Decocker with trouble.

Take the slide off. The hammer should be cocked to be able to do this. With a dowel or something that has home heft, like the handle of a screwdriver, see if you can push down on the disconnector. If when you push/press down on it the hammer drops, then the issue is the safety/decocker elements. If ...

Re: P83 Decocker

Again decocking has nothing to do with moving the Trigger, if you think it does then you are very mistaken. The action of decocking is when the Hammer is lowered from the cocked position safely through the action of apply the Safety. If the Hammer is already down there is NO decocking that can be d...

Re: P83 Decocker

I misread your post. With the hammer cocked and safety off and you fire the gun the hammer drops as it should. But if you activate the safety with the hammer down the trigger will not move to the rear because you have now activated the safety and not the decocker. You'll get some play in the trigger...

Re: P83 Decocker

Deja vu. Had a similar issue with my 1st P83 I got from GB. The decocker would not drop the hammer not matter what I did. Ordered all new safety/decocker components, sear, and hammer drop lever (diconnector) to no avail. After closer inspection I noticed that when I moved the safety lever to decock ...

Re: Hammer Strut Tab - Advice

Yes, it does look like it's broken. Take a look at the one on this page (scroll down some until you see it). Numrich is out of them, so your best bet is ebay or Gunbroker.

Re: P-64 Comparison Shot with G26,G43, or FNS9C?

Yes, but that can be misleading. The 9C's grip is thicker and gives you more surface area to grip it firmer. It's a better grip than the P64/SMC-918. The P64 is more conducive to one hand shooting than the 9C although I can shoot the 9C with one hand as well. It's more of a point and shoot gun than ...

Re: P-64 Comparison Shot with G26,G43, or FNS9C?

I have the FNS 9C and the FEG SMC-918 (Expeort version of the APK9) which is almost identical the P64. SMC-918 OAL - 165mm (6.5") (6-1/2") Barrel - 86mm (3.4") (3-25/64") P64 OAL - 155mm (6.10") (6-7/64") Barrel - 85mm (3.35") (3-11/32") https://s20.postimg.or...

Good to hear you're back up and running. Yes, mine is also not easy to rack the slide. Has to do with the weight of the recoil spring.

Re: Please Help -- 1 oz SA trigger pull

Call Numrich and explain to them the condition of the hammer and that you are not happy with it. I have dealt with them before and from my experience with them they have good CS.

Re: Hungarian F.E.G. MR61

You are most welcome. My two-tone PA63 is stamped "PA-63" on the left side of the slide. However, the all blue one only says "Cal. 9mm" on the slide. The importers marked these things up so bad that they made look like a billboard.

Re: Hungarian F.E.G. MR61

Welcome to the forum. Your MR61 (mfg between 2003-2005) is the same thing as the R61 except that it's all blue whereas the R61 is the two-toned version. Steel slide/alloy frame gun 6.2" long with a 3.4" barrel. I have a later version of it, the SMC-918 (6.5" OAL w/a 3.4" barrel) ...

Re: FEG SMC 380 JUST STOPPED FIRING!!

The coil captures the male end of the TB. Either the part of the TS that goes in the TB slot slipped off or snapped off. The only way you are going to find out is by removing the TB. Either way, I would buy a spare one. Two sets of YouTube videos on disassembly and assembly. If after watching them y...

Re: FEG SMC 380 JUST STOPPED FIRING!!

Same to you. One more thing just to satisfy my curiosity. Strip the gun like you did but while holding the hammer with one hand slowly squeeze the trigger letting the hammer fall slowly. Then shine a light in the slot where the front of the TB goes into the trigger. Turn it so you can see into the t...

Re: FEG SMC 380 JUST STOPPED FIRING!!

It may have slipped off. If you shake the gun can you hear the spring rattle inside the trigger area? If not, then as Ketch said, it most likely broke and fell out of the gun. I have spare parts for almost all of my guns, just the ones that I can easily replace without needing a gunsmith to do the j...
