Re: J&G sales and Classic firearms feedback

Thanks curly1. Classic has some P64 for 199, so I bought some. I'm a FFL dealer and see on G.B. They sell for about 245, then shipping and transfer fees comes to about 300 bucks. Figured I could list them for around 250. However, if condition is crude and not good like they say I might have made a m...

J&G sales and Classic firearms feedback

I have read a few threads talking about these sites and what good condition means to them. I am about to order a used surplus firearm from each site and wanted to hear about other people's experiences with them. I've never ordered from them and don't know what to expect. As you know one persons &quo...

barrel bulge

How dangerous is shooting a 12 gauge shotgun with a slight bulge close to the muzzle? I understand the why risk it point but as long as i shoot lead bird shot I cant see any real danger, besides maybe the wad getting stuck but all the pressure will be able to escape. The possibility seems slim. Thin...

Re: ...P64 spare mags available...

Didn't look at that... Yeah I was excited for a 20.00 mag but nearly $16.00 to ship brings it right back up to a 36 dollar mag, which seems to be the going rate these days.

Judging from the description on AIMs site, they are original surplus. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: All about the P64 Magazine

Yeah I think it was curly who said he put a magazine in a vice and gently changed its dimensions until it fit nice. Wasn't looking for problems but when I noticed one mag went into my gun easier than the other I took a closer look. My 1969 prefers the longer feed lip mag over the shorter one. The sh...

Re: P64 slam fire question

That's too bad. More to the story could have proved valuable. Not much of a conspiracy guy but the more I thought about it, made me wonder if a gun hater made a post to plant the seed of doubt in people's minds. Unlikely I know but with a story like that one would think he would check back.

All about the P64 Magazine

The magazine is the weakest point on a semi-automatic pistol. It's the first thing you change (next to ammo) when you have malfunctions. Being as the P64 has different generations, manufactures and quirks, does anyone think having a spot just to discuss the magazines of the P64 would be useful? When...

Re: P64 slam fire question

Well its not like he shot himself, rested up for the night made a post and went back out to duplicate the malfunction. He was hospitalized, had surgery and judging from the post had recovery time before posting. Very unlikely after all that he decided to go and monkey on the problem himself and if h...

Re: Surplus P64 9x18 6rnd magazine

From combing this site I have discovered one truth. Nothing is standard with these pistols. Someone said the older guns won't function reliably with the newer mags but vise versa works... I have a 1969 and the newer style mag with the extended lips functions flawlessly but the older style ( I got on...

Re: P64 shooting today

"NO other gun firing a viable self defense round disappears on your person like this one does." Having worked with law enforcement, the horror stories they could tell you of people being shot with a 22, 25, 32 or 380 would turn your stomach. One guy shot himself with a 380 in a downward an...

Re: Feeling the water before I plunge

Yeah I've carried a weapon everyday for the better part of 13 years. From a full size government 1911 to a NAA 22 mag revolver. Recoil isn't that bad. My NAA or LCP are to me more uncomfortable to shoot. If I want a range trip my Colt M45 rail gun, smith 686 or Glock to name a few, are some primary ...

Feeling the water before I plunge

Hello Newbie here to this so far wonderful site. Have been in a gun loving world my whole life but just recently discovered this little gem made by the polish, the P64. I work in a gun store and one happened to make its way in. Love at first sight! Having never heard of one before I did some snoopin...
