New Custom Carry CZ-82
I am proud to give my guy's contact info. He has a website with a price list, and some great examples of his work here: http://www.willisarms.com/index.html He is a bit swamped with repairs due to hunting season opening up (Dove and Teal season opened this past Saturday), but he says things will be ...

New Custom Carry CZ-82
This is a CZ-82 I recently picked up through Centerfire Systems and had customized by my friend, Gunsmith James Willis of Willis Arms in Elm Grove Louisiana. First the pistol was stripped and beadblasted, followed by a matte blueing. I have had him do this to several of my carry pieces and I love it...

I don't often find a product to brag about
But I recently bought a fantastic holster from another member of this board for my P-64. It is a Don Hume JIT Slide that I believe was made for the sig 230/232. I can't stand an IWB holster and have tried many different belt hosters and loved NONE of them. Then I got this beauty. It is small, lightw...

Fave Nightstand Gun
I love my p64 and my mak for concealed carry, as well as my colt commander - but my nightstand gun is a Browning Hi Power. 13 in the mag, one in the pipe, cocked and locked. Flip the safety, apply 1.8 lbs pressure and BOOM!

For those of you that carry the P-64...
I do not carry my P-64. It is a fun at the range gun. I do have a ccw and carry daily. In the summer months (T-Shirt Season) I carry a Bulgarian Makarov. Full mag, 1 in the pipe, safety off in an IWB holster. In the cooler months, I carry a Commander size 1911. I carry "condition one" whic...

who knows who is lurking on the board?
I don't want to alarm anybody, and I am not gonna name names, but I want to bring something to everyone's attention. Yesterday I got a pm from someone on the board whose handle was not familiar with so i went to their profile first. Brand new to the board (couple of days) and absolutely NO identifyi...

here in Louisiana you fill out a form, they make a 2 minute phone call and you are out the door in 5 minutes. Though a lot about this state sucks, we are very gun friendly.

Wood grips durable???
Mine were mesquite, and yes it happened on recoil on shot number three. Oddly enough, I had commented to my wife after shot #2 that the wider backstrap acually lessened the perceived recoil.

what the hell was that about? I was just trying to prevent someone else from getting hurt. I am not sueing anybody, Chris has agreed to make things right and that is cool with me. In fact, I didn't even name him - he outed himself.

With all due respect to Saands (whose expertise I admire) I did say something! I said how it happened as well. The thing just shattered. I am sure it was due to some defect, these things happen. I haven't heard another mention of similar problems till now. I have been in touch with the maker of the ...
