Re: 45 AUTOS
Pretty much sums up what I saw in my service. I was very glad to have the 1911 near.

That is a lot 1911 hate. You sir have obviously never been on the sharp end of the stick in the wee hours.

Re: swiss rifles
Absolutely breath taking photos. Thank you for sharing. A shooter named Kari Prager ,RIP, had an amazing collection of these rifles and hundreds of books on Swiss shooting. I enjoyed some of his stories about the Swiss clubs. One of my not near as nice rifles. http://img.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: '30 M1 Garand
I can relate to that. At least the M14 I carried for two years in harms way with a full combat load of five magazines and three bandoleers.

Swedish 6.5X55 rifles
These are some sweet shooting rifles. The 6'5X55 shoots flat and far. I have a friend who competes in the UK and Europe in long range service rifle with one and will often cut center at 900 M eight to ten times a string using hold overs. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/montereyjack/Peter/m960...

Re: '30 M1 Garand
Are not they handsome ? Recall many of the users were just as tall as the M1.

Re: My 1st Mosin.
That is about as good as it gets. Swedes a quite a bit better and as always I'm more comfortable behind an Enfield.
