Thanks fr the info! slide stop is A OK, new older p64 has a much stiffer recoil spring and it is disassembled into every component, labeled and bagged in a box!!! A lot of wear on the ejector and upper slide that ay have been causing feeding problems by marring the casings as it loaded.

out of curiosity, any ideas on what would have caused this? wear and fatigue?

on the subject the different hammers are interchangeable yes? the new one is older and has the smaller round hammer and is really hard for me to cock

So went to the range today to shoot my p64 and cz75. Got home and found a crack in the slide under the barrel to the slide race! RIP

its the rounded head. and the trigger pill i good but i didnt think about that i put the #18 replacement spring in to subdue that DA Did you have this problem prior to changing springs? So its been a while, and here is an update. Loading a lot better now, however still fails occasionally and i have noticed a pair of marrings on the back of the casings on the lip, about 1/4 in apart. and it has started to light strike primers.....

Latest update! everything is working well, the wolf ammo is still not firing reliable but federals are! so either a bad batch of primers or something. Thanks again for all the help!!!

thanks for the info and tips i did mean a feed issue and didnt pay attention. 1 mag does seem to be feeding properly and will look over them side-by-side, along with the other steps. I have shot pistols all my life but am new to woning them. Know shotguns infinitely better and am enjoying all the ne...

I was using Wolf FMJ and i did not use it all as the gun was having issues and out of about 20 rounds i had 6 FTF with clearly impacted primers

well it didnt seem to jam after a thorough cleaning!!! the mag bein able to move in and out about 1/4 in is still a little odd to me though!

Will be at the range on Thursday and will report back if the full strip and clean didnt work to solve the load issue.
