Better Marksmen with the P64

I am an O.K. marksmen, but nothing to brag about I'd probably fall right in the middle of "average shooter" but after a few trips to the range and a couple of hundred rounds through my P64 I am convinced that this little firecracker is the most accurate handgun around. At my first trip to ...

Re: still heavy after replacing hammer spring with 18 # wolf

Yes the Wolff replacement was a #18 and sorry to tell you on my P64 there wasn't any noticeable change to the feel of the DA. Huge change to the SA but not on the DA. Where exactly did you get your P-64? Are you entirely sure that it had the stock spring when you replaced it? How many P-64s do you ...

Re: still heavy after replacing hammer spring with 18 # wolf

I replaced mine with the 18 lb Wolff as well and didn't feel much difference with it compared to the original spring with a DA trigger pull. The switch did make the SA very light. :?: :?: :?: The gun comes with an approximately 30# trigger pull! It won't register on most "normal" trigger ...

Re: Successive firing?

I replaced the original hammer spring with an 18 lb Wolff on my P64 and I have had the same experience that you have. The SA pull on the trigger is so light that I had a couple of unintended fires my first trip to the range with it. I bought the gun for an optional carry gun and will carry it with t...

Re: P-64 Trigger guard piece broken

Very glad there were no injuries. Sorry to see and hear about the mishap. I love my P64, I'd still be weeping if this would happen to mine. I hope you find a replacement part quickly.

Color Fill P64 Engraving

I've been watching some You Tube videos on color filling the engraving on hand guns. I'm debating if I want to color fill my P64. Has anyone done this? Do you think this will de-value the gun?

Re: Looking for grips

I was looking at getting a tactical grip for mine but tried the inner tube trick first. I cut a section out of an old bicycle inner tube and fitted it over the grip. Works great and zero cost.
