Welcome to The Brotherhood Hutch. 1st suggestion is to swap out your springs. Even if you only replace with stock weights do it. My safety is extremely hard to move in either direction At times i need two thumbs to it. Is this typical I have oiled well. Is this normal?

After some research, I found someone else with this same problem. He had me closely examine the dis-connector. It shows some grinding marks on the edges. A small amount of material was removed.
