Re: Plain plastic grips?
I bought wooden grips for my P64. They are made of French Walnut. Look great, but have to remember that vibration is not your friend. Number one rule was to loosely fit the grips and slowly snug them in place. I had trouble with the screw gripping and the grip maker basically said not all guns were ...

My bad. It has been a kitchen remodel day/week/month/seems like a lifetime. The correct address was gunbot.net. Brass cartridges costs slightly more, but they fire cleaner. Good luck!

Re: Hello all, new P-64 owner in GA
I found a couple of ways to find the ammo. Just remember each and every time, you want 9x18. I ordered online from Academy Sports. Inexpensive and free shipping when you order x$'s. Shipping was fast. Ordered shortly after midnight and the ammo was at my door the following day. (As in Tuesday mornin...

Re: Monarch
Thanks, Ketchman. I am going to check out Silver Bear. Do you have a favorite defense round? I hear the name Hornady Critical Defense pretty often. Thanks for the insight on the Silver Bear zinc.

Re: Monarch
Thanks Tech 1 and Ketchman. I like the idea of inexpensive ammo for the range. Don't we all. Pretty sure it won't get much cheaper than $10.99. My guns get a thorough scrubbing after each outing, so the idea of lacquer buildup doesn't bother me too much. Ketchman, I was under the "illusion perh...

Monarch
Good morning, everyone. Has anyone had good or not so good experiences with the Monarch brand? I have found them stocked at my "local" Academy Sports for something like $10.99. I have only fired about half a box so far, but no misfeeds or failures to fire. They are also offered on-line wit...
