Trigger guard questions

The trigger guard pin on my P64 broke this morning at the range. Also lost the plunger. Does anyone know if the trigger guard pin for a Hungarian PA-63 would work? Also, someone on here suggested using a roll pin in place of the trigger guard pin. Both original parts are available on gunbroker but t...

Re: Failures to feed

It's your recoil spring, mine did the same thing when I switched to the wolff 22lb spring, I switched it back to stock and haven't had any issues since Did you grind the ends flat on the 22lb spring? Or just put it in? I know I'm late to this party but I'm having the same issue. Could you please de...

Re: P 64 on TV

Wonder if they had the Wolf replacement springs in them to soften that double action trigger?

Thanks for the link. Since I have a P64 and a PA63 I think I'll give it a try.

Re: Silver Bear not OK - Wolf WPA OK

I've noticed the same in my P64. Problems with Silver Bear but Brown Bear is fine. That is all I've shot through it though.

Re: Classic has em cheap!

... I'm cool with trying to buff or polish the imperfections out. I'm also good with an ugly gun if it's got good, honest wear and tear. We'll see. Well, mine was more than "imperfections." It looked like it had set in water for some time. BIG splotches of brown in the otherwise dark blue...

Re: Red dot for safety indicator

The auto paint is a good idea. I have some bright yellow (for my son's truck). Hopefully my Wolf springs will be here tomorrow and I'll touch it up after replacing those. Thanks for the input everyone.

Re: Red dot for safety indicator

Was the paint there after you cleaned it? No sir it disappeared while shooting. Was there when I received it and after initial cleaning but when I went to clean it after shooting I noticed it was gone. Never had that happen before. Anyway, I'll try the model paint as they should be cheaper and easi...

Red dot for safety indicator

Took my new P64 from AIM to the range Saturday and ran 50 rounds through it. The gun looks like it has never been used. I mean not even any handling marks except a few light scratches on the grips that could just be from being moved around in transit. Anyway, the safety lever was really stiff so pri...

Rcommendation for hogue grip

Greetings,

New to the forum here and looking forward to the exchange of information. I just acquired a P64 and am interested in getting the Hogue wrap-around grip for it. Could someone steer me to the correct size for the P64.

Thanks
