....I had a spare set of Talon rubber grips for a XDS45....with just minor trimming they fit perfectly and I have zero problems shooting mine...

.......have had that happen to me......(not spring on wrong way)......as weird as this may sound,I used my other hand and it was a piece of cake.... all I can think of for this is that using my one hand somehow wasnt gettin me the right angle....I've been doing it that way ever since with no probs.....

....my '72' has a rounded hammer...

....this is why I got a Class 03 C&R license way back in 2001....has save me mucho bucks and hassles finding a good FFL for transfer over the years- and it gets delivered right to my front door.....

......got an email today.....from AIM....they have some more P64's in with mags and holsters....Grade 1 and Grade 2....$249 and $219 respectively....I'd get another,but boy would I hear about it from 'She Who Must Be Obeyed'......

....GAWD...! no wonder I havent found the ones I shot out back in the field..!!!

...hmmm...weird.....all I have shot thru my P64 has been Silver Bear so far and have had zero problems...

I've bought from AIM for at least 14 years and never had a problem....latest was a 72 dated P64 a few months ago that I posted a thread about-love it...I looked yesterday and see they are sold out of them now

...dang...!...mine was a breeze.. ..I had big trouble getting the slide back on....till I accidentally discovered it went back on easier using my other hand....!

....I have a few hundred rounds of it but havent tried it yet...

...I shot Silver Bear thru mine....got plenty of Brown Bear in reserve... ...its so light in the IWB I can almost forget its there...

...I didnt get them specifically for a P64,just had an extra set and they were the correct size...Talon grips are very inexpensive(made for just about any pistol) and have an adhesive backing that conforms beautifully to any grip and then they recommend you warm it up for a few minutes with a hairdr...
