Re: Marschal Grips

BTW do you know if they could do family Crests ? I haven't seen anything like that on his website, but it's possible. For enough $$$, anything can be done! Although some have commented that he is not very prompt with emails, that has not been my experience. Whether it was the original order...

Re: Marschal Grips

Yeah...mine are flawless, and feel really good too! Really add a nice look to the gun; breaking up the all black (and kind of cheap looking) original grips.

Re: Marschal Grips

Very Awesome! I will see how they both are when the new ones come in. Will shoot a few rounds with both and see which one (if any) feels better. If I decide to sell, I'll send you a PM. :hi:

Marschal Grips

I recently received the grips for my P64 from Dennis et al at Marschal Grips. I knew they would be a bit of a wait, but from the results I've seen here and on their website (www.marschalgrips.com) I knew I had to have them. I ordered the short checkered version (that doesn't cover the magazine) in P...

All sorted now courtesy of this YouTube video...

Works like a charm now with just a wee bit of filing. :D Still not sure why everything worked with the snap caps, but got hung up with the ammo? Perhaps the snap caps are slightly smaller???

Re: New Member Question

Well...it's not entirely the ammo. Got some Wolf and Hornady Critical Defence to try. The Wolf is just like the Silver Bear; with a round chambered and the safety off, the disconnector is not doing what it needs to do and the trigger pulls with no resistance (like the safety is still on). The Hornad...

Strut washer

Was taking my P-64 apart and realized that there is no strut washer. Of course I am going to blame the previous owner, although I am probably at fault with careless disassembly techniques (bonehead that I am). I read on the forum that someone used part of a rivet as a replacement. Has anyone else fo...

Re: New Member Question

With the slide off, try pushing the disconnector down. It should cause the hammer to fall. Then the disconnector should spring back up when released. If not, it may be gonked up or you trigger spring may be going bad. Hi Weasel...I've looked over the schematics of the gun and am wondering which spr...

Re: Anyone Ride a Motorcycle?

I ride a 2009 Moto Guzzi V7 Classic. Got it via Moto International in Seattle. It's been an awesome "little" bike (750cc is now considered small)! :D

Re: New Member Question

Well, I've been checking things out online and am now wondering whether this may be related to the ammo I have? The Silver Bear that came with the gun is old, I guess. It's 120 grain HP from the LVE plant back in good old Novosibirsk. This is probably a Russian curse on a Polish gun!! :o After all, ...

Re: New Member Question

Hi Weasel640...thanks for the suggestion. That doesn't seem to be the issue. When I pushed down on the disconnect it dropped the hammer and returned to position. Will still attempt the complete strip down and cleaning of everything. Have ordered Wolff springs, so waiting to do everything when the sp...

Re: What Model Year Do You Own?

1976...first one for me. I'd really like to find one from 1965 (birth year), but it doesn't look like they are all that common here; only saw one on the list.

Re: New Member Question

Thanks for the replies Curly1 and gemini1. The link you provided was very helpful, Curly1. I will do a thorough disassembly, cleaning and polishing and then see what's what. Gemin1, no issues with the firing pin...the issue was that there was no proper trigger action (it was like the safety was stil...
