Re: Widener's p83

The three p83s I got from them, one looked unused, one looked slightly used, and one looked very used. What's funny is the one that looks the worst, is the best shooter of the three.

Re: P-83 dates

The 3 P83s I just got are 2 87s and a 89.
Kinda looks like the first shipments to come over were later production. Just my 2cents worth.

Re: Widener's p83

Thanks for trying, it woulda been nice if it had worked.
I'm thinking of getting a P-64 after I recover from spending the money on these 3 guns.

Re: Widener's p83

The cleaning rod for the P-83 has a longer tip than the rod for the P-64. The P-83 has a little longer barrel than the p-64. Do you think the P-64 tool would still work? The P-64 has a 84.6mm barrel and the P-83 barrel is 90mm long. Thanks. Bill http://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/catalog/cln-1975_914...

Re: Widener's p83

Hi all, I'm new here and a new owner of 3 p83s from Wideners. I'm happy with the guns I received, One is super nice, the other shows a little wear, and the last one shows heavy use but seems to be the best shooter of the three. "the most accurate". Even though I think the price of the guns...
