Re: P-64 Grip v.05

Yes. The grips have checkered palm and heel swells. And the v.05 will also incorporate finger grips on the front panel. Both models should be valid for different tastes. And the final, (i think) model will have interchangeable wood inserts Which was my original version. See the fiikr links on past p...

P-64 Grip v.05

Ok guys and gals, I think I've done all i can to address the grip deficiencies. All addressing the split clam shell causing hand damage. Poor ergonomics and cosmetics. v.05 is likely the end game for me and also likely a real game changer! I lost the write up (temporarily) so ill make it brief. Thes...

P-64 Grip v.03

Hi All, Saw some "Grip", talk again. Im still working on my next version. https://flic.kr/s/aHskkpSw5n But here is the latest. You may remember I made a hybrid factory grip with wood inserts awhile back. Well, I made a master model from it with new checkered inserts with palm swell as well...

Re: Need advice please

Not sure why. But sounds like good advise below.
Never tried Brown bear ammo.
I have always used Monarch 9x18 steel. From Academy. They always seem to carry it at 3 different story around here. Never any problems and cheapest around. $11.00/box here in TX.

Grip Mod. v.02

Greetings all. Been enjoying the discussions of late. Thought I would share my latest grip mod. Hand checkered rosewood. Forgot the variety. Don't know why I put in that thumb groove on the left panel. My thumb rests naturally on the upper rest. Will delete on the next version. Also thinned out the ...

Re: New P-64 mods.

To the grip insert question. They are my first prototype. In plywood. The second ones are almost finished. I used a type of fine grained rosewood and hand checkered. Did not make target grip this time. I'm thinking of interchangeable inserts to suited your mood or attire for that matter! Will post m...

Re: New P-64 mods.

Not sure where I'm going with it at this point. I just ordered a few more grip panels. So it is worth pursuing because I think others will find it of benefit. My vision is to mold one piece grip frames and machine replacable hardwood insert blanks. To be final shaped by the end user to fit their han...

Re: New P-64 mods.

Thanks. Will do precision machining on the next attempt. And I almost forgot to report on the "comfy", effect. I was having so much fun smacking steel plates that I almost didn't realize that the felt recoil shock was greatly reduced to that of my other larger grip pistols. The shock seeme...
