Report on Outbags pocket holster and Remora holster
Here are my experiences with these holsters: Outbags: I wanted to like this holster because I am a cheap bastard. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with it. For IWB, regardless of how I carried it, it was not securely held by my waist band. That is because the narrow strip of material...

Re: A poll of sorts...
1st P64 - for concealed carry, currently my EDC. Replaced my CZ82 which is a just a tad big for my hands and to conceal. (5'9" 160lbs) 2nd P64 - home hideout gun. I keep it near my back door, just in case the unexpected happens. Easy to access at the door, on the way in or way out. 3rd P64 - to...

Re: P-83
I love mine, so big Yeah! Not as concealable as a P64, of course, and with a hammer that begs to be snagged on your clothes. I watched a YouTube video that explained the coolness of this pistol, though. It is mostly made from stampings and bendings, with very few machined parts. Apparently pretty re...

Re: Outbags pocket holster any good?
Thanks for the replies, guys. I have the OUTBAGS LOB3S-MAK9 IWB holster for the P64 and it is very nice for carry, just hard to put on and take off. I must not know the secret to getting it on and off. The curved piece at the bottom of the clip nearest the holster snags on everything when taking it ...

Re: Outbags pocket holster any good?
They are just $13 shipped, so going to try one out. I wear cargo shorts when weather permits and my P64 fits nicely in the front pocket. Also looking at Remora pocket holsters. The Outbags holster looks like it might need a little modification to tighten up the retention of the pistol so it doesn't ...

Outbags pocket holster any good?
I searched the site for Outbags holster threads but only found one for their leather IWB holster. Has anyone tried their nylon pocket holster for the P64? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Makarov-Polish-P-64-Nylon-Inside-Pocket-Holster-Proudly-handcrafted-in-USA-/261386206804?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=i...

Re: What did you carry today?
Luv P64s. They are so beautifully made and a great investment, too. They fit my hand so well and are a pleasure to hold and shoot. They could only be improved by being made ambidextrous.

Re: What did you carry today?
I'll get some pics of the holstered pistol. Homestead has a web site, http://homesteadholsters.com/. I also have IWB and OWB holsters for my CZ82 and an IWB for my P64 from them. Good quality, reasonable prices. You can buy them on Amazon, but I always buy them direct from the web site. http://i166....

Re: What did you carry today?
P64 with Polish Iron grips in a Homestead Holsters OWB holster and Silver Bear FMJ 94 gr ammo. Have the original springs in it. Figure adrenalin will overcome the heavy DA trigger pull, if needed. Carry it 6+1, safety on. Front sight painted fluorescent green.

Left handed OWB holster recommendation
Does anyone have a recommendation for a left handed leather OWB holster for the P64? I prefer the type that has two belt slots, or three slots to allow for experimenting with carry position. I have an IWB Homstead Holster hybrid and could order an OWB hybrid from them but want an all leather holster...

Re: Bringing-out the Luster
To All, I wish I remembered the name of the metal polish sold by Honda motorcycle dealers (for polishing chrome parts) but I've forgotten it. = It works wonders on "bringing out the shine" & removing deep rust particles that are down IN the finish. - The last tube that I bought as abo...

Re: Bringing-out the Luster
The bronze wool I bought on Amazon was "fine" grit.
