Real Clothes Flesh and Bone??
I believe the point of the line of question is not just morbid curiosity, rather what can we expect the weapon and round we have chosen to stake our lives upon do in a time of need? I for one do not carry a pistol for the sake of carrying it; it has a specific job. That would be to keep some misguid...

Daughter-in-law and the P-64
Himmel, I worked upon a Zastava .32 acp single action pistol once. It sorta looked like a miniture Takarov. Is that what you have? If so I seem to remember the grips were held in place by pieces of flat springlike metal that are riveted to the backside of each grip scale. You should be able to remov...

Makarov VS P-64 My Observations
I'd place the quality of my DDR Mak and P-64 to be about the same. The P-64 is easier to carry and conceal, however the Mak is not exactly a beast. I've carried a concealed Mak for many years. I lilke both of them, each has a particular nitch. As far as going to the range , The Mak is much more enjo...

Thanks for the input. The Russian Ammo I had light strikes with was Wolf. I think the new mainspring was a little weak for it. The indentations in the primer were sort of shallow. I dents AMERICAN primers good and deep though. Right now I have no source of inexpensive 9x18. I have to find some. I ha...

Holster fit
;)I have not seen any holsters specifically made for the p64. Iwent to a local holster maker to find a holster about a year ago and found that he had no gun upon which to fit build a holster. Rather that wait for that to happen we tried some of his exsisting holster, lo and behold the holster for th...

Finally I am in. I see that I am not alone in my enthusiasm for the P64. I got one a while back and have been in love with it ever since. The trigger has since been slicked up a bit to where I am comfortable with it. While not 100% with some of the Russian ammo (light strikes) it is absolutely 100 %...
