Re: magazine problems

The two original mags which would not run, look to be old surplus original, not after market. They have the serial numbers electro penciled on them...they look no different from the onces that work fine. It's odd. I am going to stretch the mag springs and try them one more time before I give up on t...

Re: magazine problems (up date)

Bought two mags from SOG (thanks for the referral to Snailman) Received them quick, cleaned them up and out to the range. Happy to report the two mags ran perfect so the problem was two of my original mags. :D

Thanks for the suggestions and support.

Re: magazine problems

Checked the springs in the two non functioning mags, they were oriented the same as the one functioning mag.

Recleaned and will test again later in week.

Re: magazine problems

Thanks , I will check that tonight and let you know what I find.

Any source of reliable factory mags. My P64 made in 1977 if that makes a difference.

After re-cleaning, should I use a light coating of gun oil or rim oil inside the mag? Any idea for the best place to buy dependabl...

magazine problems

I am new to forum and new to P64 ownership. Just cleaned/lubed the gun, opened the 3 mags that came with the gun and cleaned them well. Then out to the range to test. Only one of the three mags worked flawlessly. Two of the three had a jam on the second round (the round turned sideway and did not ch...
