Re: Where is price headed?
Your comparisons to Bersa or Taurus guns I am not particularly fond of, show me where you are coming. The p-64 I bought is c&r eligible because like Mauser, Enfield, Mosin-Nagant or Springfield it deserves a place in history. Not sure about the price although I paid more than 200.00 for mine. I ...

Recommend Tuff1 vs hogue, fits like a glove and easier to remove. My testing same results.

Re: Another way the P-64 can discharge w/o pulling the trigg
Thanks for the pictorial confirmation of our pencil/live testing. The jean snag must have included a failure of some kind. Currently running a 18lb mainspring and wolf extra recoil/firing pin spring without encountering light hits. Pretty well documented down to 16 lbs mainspring without experiencin...

Re: Another way the P-64 can discharge w/o pulling the trigg
Range test report: Tested with live fiocchi ammo. 95gr mak/ With hammer retracted to just prior to sa cock and released zero firing pin strikes on live bullet. Did this 20 times, no firing pin strikes. (simulated hammer caught on pants). P-64 has a hammer notch safety that catches hammer prior to st...

Re: Another way the P-64 can discharge w/o pulling the trigg
Although I carry with the safety engaged, my 1974 p-64 firing pin will not strike the pencil erasure without the trigger being pulled. Testing with hammer back rite before it locks up into sa and releasing the firing pin does not strike the erasure of the pencil. Confusing isn't it.

Re: new guy in Spokane,WA.
I ordered the wolf spring pak (not installed yet), but after bout 200 dry fires either my trigger finger got stronger or the hammer spring weaker. Used one of those orange earplugs, cut in half and formed it behind the safety and dry fired away while watching the football game. Will take it to the r...

Economically depressed like Detroit or Chicago? Where citizens could really use a p-64.

Re: New (to me) P-64
I think I ordered 18/22 from Wolf was shipped yesterday. I'm not the first owner and I truly don't know what springs are in this gun. When the springs arrive I'll mess with it until I like it. The Hogue jr arrived but liked it so much I stuck it on my lc9. Will order another. The web of my hand is s...

Re: New (to me) P-64
First time shoot, 6 rnd x 5 mags x 3 loads = 90 down range. Good: No failures, accurate gun, surprised me with no flyers even with the poor da first shot. Not so good: Don't know what to do about the trigger. DA is so hard but SA is soft, recoil double tap do to my lazy trigger finger. I...

New (to me) P-64
Received my P-64 from Warsaw Arms in Oregon today. Came with a tool (?) and 5 mags. I'd say its in very good condition. Since I've read this entire forum, nothing really surprised me about it. Trigger pull da is bout worst I've seen and I have a LC9. Sa is mushy and too soft. I have a set of wolff s...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Happy 2014, just bought my p64, awaiting delivery from Oregon. Virginia resident, member of S&W, Ruger, Beretta forums. Owned briefly a Bulgy Mak that I repaired, and decided I missed the fun of shooting a blowback da/sa pistol. So here I go again. P64 looks to be more complicated but looking fo...
