Re: Intro and my new P83 from Wideners
Regarding the writing on the holster. "St. Sierż." is an abbreviation of "Starszy Sierżant" which means "Staff Sergeant" a rank both in the Polish Army, Air Force and Police. Judging by the brown color of the leather the holster is probably a Polish army holster. Czajka...

Re: Opening of FB Radom USA, in Texas coming soon.
This does remind me of a question which I keep meaning to ask. Was there some significance to the old firearms plant in Bulgaria (where the Bulgarian PMs were made) being "circle 10" and the plant in Radom, Poland being "circle 11"? Was there some sort of numbering system which ...

Re: Opening of FB Radom USA, in Texas coming soon.
The good news is that FB Radom finally noticed there is a large civilian gun market in the US. The bad news is that the Radom factory went through a bankruptcy in the early 2000's so while FB Radom is the direct historical descendant of the earlier Radom factory it is no longer it's legal descendant...

Re: Increased magazine capacity
I'm wondering if you could replace the P64 magazine spring with a new smaller spring, after all the the P64 magazine had a spring designed 50 years ago, we have different materials now.
Someone should ask Wolff Gunsprings http://www.gunsprings.com/ to check this idea.

Re: Where can I get a P64 safety catch from?
I made a phone call to the Radom Firearms factory in Poland a couple of weeks ago and talked with someone from their marketing departament and was told they no longer have or make spare parts for the P64 or P83.

Polish military hip holsters for the P83 and P64
When in 2003 Poland joined the US-led anti-Saddam coalition they realized that the standard issued holsters were fixed on the belt and as such incompatible with body armor or modern tactical vests. They had to design newer holsters which could be worn on a belt, a hip panel or on a vest. They also d...

Re: Safety Catch being made.
Can anyone send me a photo of a safety catch for a P64 pistol? I will ask around if anyone in Poland would be interested in making them. Are there any other parts for the P64 that are hard to find?

Re: Source for white holsters?
I asked around and found out that the Polish Navy also uses white holsters as a part of their parade uniforms http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/55/Kompania_Reprezentacyjna_Marynarki_Wojennej.jpg/640px-Kompania_Reprezentacyjna_Marynarki_Wojennej.jpg I found a source of used white ...

Thanks for the recomendation Daddyursus. The picture posted in this by Daddyursus was scanned by me from a book about the Wist-94 pistol which is the current service pistol of the Polish Army. The book has a short summary of the development of Polish pistols before and after the Second World War. I ...

You think naming a pistol after a chemical element is strange? Check out "Wielkokalibrowy Karabin Maszynowy WKM" https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/12,7_mm_Wielkokalibrowy_Karabin_Maszynowy_WKM or "WKM WKM" for short. In the Polish army a heavy machine gun is called a WKM and someone ...

Re: P-64 not chambering
You have a P64 built in the year 1967. It might be a problem with the mags. The Poles changed the construction of the P64 around 1972 and made the feed lips on the magazines slightly longer which will cause feeding problems if you stick a "new" (post 1972) P64 mag into an "old" (...

Re: Source for white holsters?
Yes, I know that that is not a P64 holster but I should have mentioned that to make it clear. I couldn't find a picture of a Polish MP with a white P64 holster so I used this picture just to show that the Polish MP's used white holsters. Edit: Found some more pictures. On the first picture there are...
