Re: Polishing Feed Ramp & Chamber

I had mine cerakoted a while back, and the feed ramp is coated with Cerakoted, and have had no problems whatsoever with feeding. I was skeptical at first, but I'm going to leave the cerakote there until I do have a feeding problem, which I doubt I will have! I had a cz 82 done the same way, and the ...

Re: New holster

I too have heard very good things about this holster. So did you get the holster that fits the Walther PPK? I do plan on getting one or even two soon. I just really like this style of holster, with the offset clip. I sold a nice HBE Com 3 IWB holster that had loops....I found out quickly that I hate...

Re: New holster

This looks to be an inexpensive version of HBE Leatherworks Pro TL. I have three of those, and love them! I'm sure this works fine, as the design is the same. You can notice the lack of detail, or boning, i guess,so I wonder how well retention is compared to the more expensive holster, but I plan on...

Re: Which Remora holster for the P 64?

Wow!! 12 C? The remora fitment sheet says that PPK fits in a 3b.I just bought another Remora today from someone on the Internet. Its a 6ART for my Springfield XDS. So I assume I'd be able to carry the P -64 in that! Pretty cool!
Thanks for the info

Re: Which Remora holster for the P 64?

So it's the one specifically for the ppk/s, right? I assumed that would be the one, but wanted to see what someone else said about it. How do you like it? I ordered one for my Kahr P380 yesterday. ART cut, sweat shield, and leather liner, as they said the leather is actually not as thick as the norm...

Re: Refurbishing and Refinishing a P64

And as far as refinishing, mine really did not need it, but I got to thinking why not? The bluing looks nice on pistols, I agree. I just felt like doing something with mine, so I had mine Cerakoted. I'm really happy with the results, And I guess I need to buy a few more pistols to have that done to!...

Re: Refurbishing and Refinishing a P64

As far as firing pins, Robert and Poland has them. At least he had them a month ago. I bought a lot of spare parts for my Pistol ,so I'm good for any breakage. Even have An extra safety, which I'm really happy to have!

Which Remora holster for the P 64?

I assume the holster for the Walther PP K will work, but I'd like some feedback from someone who has actually bought one. Any suggestions?
I'm thinking Art cut, and the Remora leather liner would be a good combo.

Re: magazine loader

I have the HKS, I'm not sure if it's that same model number, but I end up using the UpLula a lot more. The HKS works okay, but for some reason I like the UpLula better. Haven't used the HKS in years since I got The UpLula. Just my two cents....

Plus one on the UpLula. I use it for everything except 22, of course!

Re: Wolff 18 and 22lb

I put the 22 pound recoil spring in mind just last week. I can take the slide off and reinstall it all day long. No problems whatsoever.

Re: Why would dry firing with no snap caps damage the safety

Yeah, uh, I was at work and crazy from the heat when I had my little epiphany about the "sliding tab" thing .  Being home now and seeing the mag, and mag release, I see how my "idea" was not going to fly. To bad there's no way to put tension on that mag release i...

Re: Why would dry firing with no snap caps damage the safety

Why wouldn't a lighter hammer spring, combined with some type of extended tab, or a Variable length tab on the magazine catch, make everything work? I mean, the light weight spring causes the magazine catch to rock back prematurely, right? Dropping the mag when the hammer moves. Why not design some t...

Re: Why would dry firing with no snap caps damage the safety

I should have asked, what makes the lighter hammer spring weight drop the magazine prematurely?
