I now have three. The 1974 that I got last Thursday, put in a 22lb recoil spring and 18 lb main spring. Noticed a big difference in double action pull and single action to cock the hammer and more effort to rack the slide. Yesterday I got 2 more, 1970 model very little holster wear and short hammer,...

Thanks for the hospitality. I got the pistol the other day from Wideners. 1974 is the date stamp. I cleaned it up, but have as yet to shoot it. I did order a set of springs and will be trying those this week. I have been carrying the S&W Shield in .40SW, but I don't think I will be using that mu...

People call me Bill. I am retired form the Dept. of Defense, an Army vet, and enjoy studying the Bible.
