Problem with reassembly.
I look apart my P-64 so that I could replace the disconnector. The problem is, when re-assembling it, I cannot get the gun to operate in double-action mode, only single action. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I've followed the re-assembly instructions on the site and watched YouTube videos as...

Re: Installed new Wolff recoil spring and can't remove the s
I had to end up pushing the back of the slide down onto the edge of a table to get enough force to pull it off. Ground off the edge of the spring and everything works great now, thanks!

Installed new Wolff recoil spring and can't remove the slide
I installed Wolff springs (hammer, firing pin, and recoil spring) and now I can't get the slide off. Everything works perfectly fine except for this. Any ideas?

Re: Question about Wolff recoil springs
Before you go calling people names. Consider your audience, there are allot of people here that love the design of this little gun. Also to most of us, changing the firing pin spring is an easy task. I never insulted the design of the gun , just the poor design of the safety detent where it's almos...

Re: Question about Wolff recoil springs
Well changing the firing pin spring turned out to be a bad idea since it's almost impossible to get the stupid safety detent to stay in place when re-assembling it. I really want to know what went through the minds of people who thought up such poor designs, like the idiot who designed the extractor...

Re: Anyone ever have a Physician ask them if they own a fire
From what I've seen on various news sites, this is part of Obamacare and the whole "national digital medical records" deal. Rest assured, it's primary purpose is to create an off-the-books gun registry. My mom is rather anti-gun but my dad carries and she flat out said that if her doctor a...

Question about Wolff recoil springs
I ordered a new main spring (17lb) and recoil spring (22lb) from Wolff. The recoil spring came with a new firing pin spring - do I need to change the firing pin spring or do they just throw that in as an extra in case you need it?

Re: new guy with spring questions
Is the hammer spring really hard to install It's really easy. You can just follow the instructions on the "fixes" section from the main page. The only issue is that it might take you several tries to get enough pressure on the spring when you're putting the magazine release back in place....

Re: Is my safety malfunctioning?
Just checked, it's the disconnector. I pushed on it and it goes down, but the hammer stays cocked. Time to hit up gunbroker....

Is my safety malfunctioning?
I just picked up a P-64 (I already have a Bulgarian Makarov, used to have a P-83, and have a CZ-82) and I noticed something odd when using the safety. I can cock the hammer and put the safety on, but when I go to disengage the safety the hammer releases. Also, if the hammer is cocked and the safety ...
