Re: One Polish handgun you all seem to have forgotten about

Well actually more have been made. Some sources say that it was around 1800-2000. Actually a shop in Warsaw (a gunsmithing company actually) had pretty large numbers of it last summer, bought from the manufacturer Wifama which I guess still had some leftovers for some reason :)

Re: Polish Mag 98

The MAG98's service was short for only one major reason- it did not meet the requirements that were written down by the Polish Military (it said the gun could not weigh more than 800g). Neither the MAG-95 nore the MAG-98 met the requirements and therefore they were not bought. MAG-98 and 95 are actu...

Re: How many P-64's are there ?

Nah I can't buy it- I bought two firearms this month already and I am buying another one (a 1935 Russian TT-30 pistol) on Tuesday ;) That is just too much money for one month ;) Maybe if it is not sold by the end of April I will buy it :)

Re: How many P-64's are there ?

Oh the WIST-94 was defenitely a bad choice, they have not used it much. The Polish Military and Police now use mainly P99s- they are actually produced in Poland now, in Radom. They also use Glock17s and very small numbers of some other 9mm pistols (CZ75 for example). Of course some special units use...

Re: How many P-64's are there ?

I do not know how many officers there were. P64s were used by both the Military and the Police (the Police had more as far as I know) so they had to produce many in order to have enough for both. Then you also have to add Border Patrol and so on. I have no idea how many of the 190000 P64s are in the...

Re: The P-83 in its Motherland!

This is how it works: there are several kinds of gun permits in Poland. For example: -Sports -Self defense -Collector's (I have this one) -Firearms instructor's -Hunter's and a few other. Every permit has its own regulations. For every permit there are different types of guns you can buy: for exampl...

The P-83 in its Motherland!

Hey guys! I am new here, I am from Poland and live in Warsaw :) just wanted to start my membership with a couple nice pics of my P-83 along with an American blackhawk holster. :) I recently got a gun permit (you need it to buy firearms in Poland) and bought the gun last week, the previous owner real...
