Got my j&g p-64 last night finally.....
I think I lucked out. Gun is a 1973 one, triangle hammer, but the finnish is new to me. The frame is black-blued, excellent while the slide is plum colored, like the hammer and safety on a bulgy mak. It looks wierd to me, as it does not match. But the gun is tight....Before I cleaned it, I racked th...

Picking up my p-64 from j&g....what to expect.....
Hello all, haven't been around here much for awhile. I sold my first p-64 (like a fool, regreted it), tonight am supposed to pick up my second from j&g at my dealers house. Also ordered an extra mag. What can I expect? Has the quality on these gone down, or stayed pretty good? As in, are they ne...

Makarov VS P-64 My Observations
I think the makarov is probably better, for most applications, and is generally loved by MANY people who carry it, as I will be early next year. BUT, the p-64 is a great gun. I've only put about 50 rounds through mine, but intend on getting more ammo soon. I want to get to know it more, as it seems ...

the DA isn't bad to me. I expected the worst, until I got it. Whats the complaint? Mine is brand new looking, no wear anywhere on it, not even holster wear on the front of the slide......I mean, its not great, but not as bad as some made it out to be. I would imagine that for some people a few chang...

Anyone use a Bianchi x-15 shoulder holster for p64
Well, the holster came. Its great, and to clarify is the x15 SMALL holster, bot the one intended for the 1911. This is just a smaller version.... Its comfortable, fully adjustable, and is tight and snug on the p-64. So tight, I probably will not use the thumbreak on it. Or I'll try to break in the s...

Anyone use a Bianchi x-15 shoulder holster for p64
I should get it any day now. I think the medium one, for a 1911, should be an ok fit. The small one, depending, might be ok for a p64. I think I will prefer the shoulder holster for concealed carry.....
