Grips question

What is the difference between the grips on a PPK/s VS. our little pistol? is there no way to modify them to fit? I know that stock they are incompatible, but as the only person I know that has a PPK is in NM while I am in MI its pretty darn hard to see the differences my self.

wouldn't a ppk holster be a better fit? I thought they were similar dimensionally.

Re: Recoil spring replacement

The recoil is akin to any 9mm subcompact, the problem is that no matter what you do (short of possibly different grips) all the recoil is put onto the web between your thumb and forefinger. I have a rubber slip on over the plastics and it still hurts. I wish pachmeyer (sp) would make a set of rubber...

Appears there are lots of differing pull weights. Mine is by no means light but I can easily pull it, I can even shoot pretty straight to boot. I have heard of them so bad even with 2 fingers they had a tough time. Wonder if it has anything to do with whether or not they were issued.

Re: Little help

from what I have gathered unless otherwise stated in the manual (or a revolver) most pistols don't need snap caps. Ruger recommends dry fire, and someone said that when he called colt about his 1911 they basically said it didn't matter. That said, not all firearms are alike, I know that the consensu...

Re: what made you pick up a P64? What do you like / dislike?

Price first, my dad had a cz82 that I loved to shoot, but I thought I would see what other guns were on offer in 9x18. I regularly out shoot him with this mighty fine pistol, the only thing I really don't like is how all the recoil finds its way to the web of my hand. I also get a pretty hefty trigg...

Re: Little help

It was at the range. As he was doing it I told him he should have taken the slide off, but he doesn't always use common sense. He is otherwise a very safe person, just had a little slip.

Little help

Got into an argument with a buddy over weather or not 9mm luger would chamber. My buddy is an idiot and decided to try it to "prove me wrong" obviously it chambered, but since its so much longer I cannot for the life of me get it to eject. What is the safest way to get this stupid thing ou...
