Re: Old vs New (sporterising)

To be honest,it's the plain yet rugged look that attracted me to the p-64 to begin with. Don't plan on doing anything to mine.

Re: it's time to share the experience

First thing you come to at my house is a fence. Make it past the fence, waiting in the house is two indoor pitbulls. We sleep upstairs so as soon as the dogs bark (if your like me,you realize your dog has different barks for different things) I hit the table light to head for the 12ga. So I would con...

Re: Stop the madness!!!

On one of the local gun forums I visit, one of the members is a ammo and reloading supplier. He was at the show and said quite a few venders backed out because of low inventory. Didn't have enough to make it worth their while. Sad thing is, that is their living. No inventory and long lead times to g...

Stop the madness!!!

I'm not even going to go on the political side of of my post. I'm just going to talk about the madness side. Had a local R&K gunshow here in Knoxville this weekend. Absolute madness. People waiting in line hours before it opens in 30 degree temps. The building was way too small. Friends that wen...

Sweet looking revolver you got there papabear. I like my 64 but I do have a soft spot for revolvers. Have you had a chance to take it out for a spin?

Productive day at the gun show today

Went to the gun show here in Knoxville today. First one since I got my p-64. It's an R&K show. Pretty big show around here. As big as it is, p-64's and any parts are scarce. However,I did manage to find a older gentleman selling older military gun parts with just a little table. After digging ar...

Finally got one!!!

I knew I had to have one the first time I saw one. I found this site learned a little bit about them. At the time the surplus houses had them for around $150. When I went to finally buy one they had dried up. When they finally started popping back up they were now up to $200 with only one clip. I fi...
