Walther P38

To make them sort of custom, you need to clean up the existing checkering, sand them smooth, do some final fitting to the pistol, stain them the color you want, and put a final finish on them...

Question on PMs

I usually go by dates as to when to remove so I still have room for more incoming. I keep most messages for about 3 months and then delete. I wonder how much memory is availalbe too

Converting CZ 52 to 9mm Luger (SHOOTS REALLY WELL)

gunneryrabbit, The cheapest and easiest is to go to Wal-Mart or an office supply store and buy a white "China Marker" crayon. I lightly oil the metal and then rub the white wax type material into the stampings. Then I use a lightly oiled cloth to remove the excess and leave the material in...

A friend of mine called me Wednesday and he was going to order a couple of these and wanted to know if I wanted one too, but I declined. He said he would call and let me know how they looked when they arrive. I will keep you guys posted what he reports.

New Rifle Buy

Trent, Yes, I do have a Czech VZ-24 I have had for about 9 years. I bought it from a friend of mine who bought about 5 at one time. The one I picked out is fully Czech marked and according to the S/N was a contract rifle to Romania in 1939. Since Romania was on the side of Germany, I surmissed it wa...

Refinishing, refinishing again, photos to date

Just a note to everyone that wants to strip the Shellac of the Russian rifles or any RC weapon. The Shellac is tough to remove with most strippers and chemicals, except Denatured Alcohol! The alcohol will remove it in a "New York Minute". On the RC K98k rifles I have purchased, it takes me...

New Rifle Buy

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments on the rifles! I never really was intending to buy the M24/47, but it was so nice, I had to take it. This one should make a nice shooter with the mint bore. I honestly don't think it has been issued since it was reconditioned. For rifles, I think the K98k is the ...

New Rifle Buy

I have been busy buying a few more rifles and wanted to show them off. The first one is a Yugo 24/47 I got last week at a local gun shop. They let me go thru all the Yugos they just got in and I picked this one. The stock is really nice with a warm brownish red color that looks much better than the ...
