Gander was very rude about the whole problem and they refused to exchange or refund the purchase. They are going to have their gunsmith fix it but i think if it just flew off while shooting it i think that it is a deformation in the slide or extractor like p-64-1973 said. Needless to say im done buy...

p-64 extractor fell off
I bought a 1971 p-64 a little over a week ago. I shot it a little over 100 times and the extractor and the spring fell off. I lost the plunger. It is still under warranty from gander for a few more weeks. Should i return it or buy a plunger online? I cant find any so if you know a website that sells...
