[Tough call. You could certainly try it, but be wary of that aluminum frame - inspect for any sign of unusual wear when using the P64 spring (if you can get it to install ok in your R61). That is a really neat pistol. Did the spring break? Or do you just want to install a new spring? I'd stick with ...

How similar is p64 to Hungarian FEG R61?

I have this hungarian R61, that my father bought at a gun show in the early to mid 90s: http://www.hungariae.com/FegR61.htm From what I can tell from that website, it is a slightly smaller version of the FEG PA-63.
