I just got mine and I'm affraid I can't give you a number. In the past I have been able to use a postal scale and a lever and get a pretty good reading. For the P64, I'd say the orignal pull is somewhere between "this thing must be broken" and "you've got to be kidding me". I hop...

Do you think there would there be a market for full replacement rubber grips, maybe with a bit of a tail on them to prevent slide bite?

I just got mine as well, and found this forum.
I'm curious what custom grips you ordered. I have ordered the 17# hammer spring. I think a rubber grip might soften the recoil, but I don't think there is one available.
