Re: Racking the slide

First time I took it apart and put it back together I could not get the slide to fully seat on the frame. After numerous attempts, finally realized the trigger pin was not all the way pushed in. After working the slide and a little luba duba it is much better. I haven't even shot it yet, so I am sur...

Re: New P64 owner here.

The guy that makes Sticky Holsters use to work for Remora. He said they had chemical skin reactions from the Remora's. Don't know if that's a fact or not, but the Sticky is great and only cost $25.

Polished P64, Grips - Finished photo added

Hand polished slide, by me, hand painted grips, by me. Waiting for the frame to be coated flat black. Should look great when all together.

Re: New P64 owner here.

Best holster I have come across is the Sticky Holster. No clips, belt loops, etc. Very stable and very, very comfortable.

Re: Where is price headed?

I also remember KMart having a skid on the showroom floor full of Chinese SKS's. They were $99 per rifle. Wish I would of had a crystal ball and money back then. Would of purchased the whole skid.

Re: Where is price headed?

Remember when Mosin 91/30's were $69.95? I do. How much are they now? Same thing will happen to the P64 and all of the imported C&R weapons from across the pond. It has already started actually. They all will continue to increase in price as the years go by.

Re: Racking the slide

The spring is on correctly. Just bought the gun from Aim so I wouldn't think it has been changed. Just have to live with it or buy a lighter recoil spring. Thanks for the reply.
And as always "Have Nice Day"

Racking the slide

After disassembly, cleaning and oiling. The slide is extremely hard to pull all the way back. I don't remember having this problem on past P64's, but its been a while. Gun functions fine, the slide is just way to hard too to pull when chambering a round. Is the recoil spring too stiff? Thanks.

Re: Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II - 45 caliber - 3" Barrel

I carry a Kimber SS Ultra Carry II. It's the best carry gun I've owned, and I've owned a lot of different ones.
It's easy to shoot, is scary accurate and very easy to carry.
As mentioned before the only "problem" is the grip is kind of short.

Re: New P64 from SOG

Some kind of beavertail would be great. My P64 does bite my thumb web a little.
A beavertail on new grips would be good too. I think Marschall offers a slight beavertail on some of there grips.
