Once again I have a P-64 to shoot.
I got it in the mail today from a member here and am glad to have this gem in my hands again after a two year absence. I sold the ones I had prior to a move to Florida two years ago and had a strong yen to get another. This one has 500 rounds thru it by the previous owner and came with a great IWB l...

Re: HOW ACCURATE-AGAIN
The flinch cure, learn how to not flinch when shooting a flintlock. Some years ago, maybe 15+, I became addicted to flintlocks and had several But never cured the flinch thing totally or as much as you can until I set about doing just that. No shooting, just learning not to flinch. After a few weeks...

My solution for the saftey
I tied a leather strip, like soft leather, or suede of some sort, around it and tied a knot in it. I also tied a knot in the loose ends and just pull back and rotate. The saftey goes on easy and same for taking it off. Grab the leather, pull and rotate. Beats me trying to wrestle it on with my finge...

Re: Recoil
You just have to shoot it and find out. Recoil is relative to a lot of things, among which is your hand size and how tight you grip the gun. As Never Enough Ammo said, he prefers it to his .380 LCP. I have the same gun and also prefer it to the LCP. However I prefer my full size 9mm to it and also t...

Re: Any Mosin Nagant fans?
Thanks to all of you for posting your pics. I have recently become addicted and currently have two, a 40 laminated and a 34 hex. I also got the Nagant pistol. The pistol is cool as I can also shoot S&W 32 short or long as well as the H&R 32 mag. I am going to pick up another and have the bol...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Welcome aboard T.May. Glad you found this forum and you will appreciate it greatly as I did and do. I had my first 9x18, a Feg 63 before I could operate a computer but got into trouble when I found this forum. (Meaning my gun total went up.) There are for sure some very talented and knowledgeable pe...

Re: P64 shoulder holster
That looks like a good solution. Is it hand sewn and did you just soak the leather and let it dry over your gun?

Re: P 64 vs P 83
However since I have this addiction for these 9x18's If I run across one at a gun show I will buy it. The price is about the same even if more compared to adding postage and FFL cost. I'm already three guns behind what I want so it will be a long summer. Don't feel bad. I'm four guns behind. ;) One...

Re: P 64 vs P 83
Magazine capacity. Mak is 8+1. P-83 is 12+1. I think you might be confusing it with the CZ-82/83. You're right, I had a brain-fart. 'Scuse please. :) I'm still trying to figure out how I can import a FORT-12. :P Peace favor your sword, Kirk Thank you both for replying and I should have looked at th...

Re: P 64 with CCR's CP II finish and Marschal zebra wood gri
Thanks for your comment about making the grips thicker. I think. I ordered a grip similar to yours but without the finger grooves and now I am going to have to order another with! That alone would be ok but I have to 64's now, one with his grips and one without that I just ordered for so I will have...

Re: P 64 vs P 83
Is there any advantage of the 83 over a mak? I have the mak and 63 and since the 83 is close to both
I'm not sure I can justify getting one. They do sound like a good gun tho, even if slightly ugly.

Can't think of a word to describe it! Beautiful combo and I would love to hear how you like those grips with the slight beavertail. I have s similar grip with the beavertail on order but don't know if it is an improvement over the standard Marschal grip or not.

Re: UMAREX Makarov CO2 pistol range report
[quote="papabear"]My neighbors are the reason I want the Beretta CO2, their darn dogs and cats prefer my yard and truck over their owners, I've talked to them with no responce, my truck is always tracked up and I have to clean up after a 2 large dogs before I can mow, yulp, they have been ...
